Probably used the word Ramadan because it was Ramadan and there were no other religious holidays on that day.

Just like how eight days later it tweeted ‘Happy Easter’ on Easter; a Christian holiday.
next easter it will be happey egg time

Can’t believe the outcry personally.

It’s like having someone saying ‘thanks to all of you’ and being offended that they didn’t single you out personally.

The fact that it’s included a bauble on a Christmas tree should be obvious enough.
Listen I’ll get over it but I feel it was a very immature or should I say insecure response. Someone needs to be overruled on this in the future

Not sure who is insecure?

The image used clearly was of imagery associated with Christmas. The fact that it didn’t explicitly say ‘Merry Christmas’ despite the overwhelmingly obvious Christmas overtones has angered certain people seems to me as if the insecurity isn’t with the club.

Playing devils advocate, what is the most INCLUSIVE language?
Probably merry festive season, but in reality it's merry christmas.

It is a bit silly though. If it's politically correct to say happy ramadan it's politically correct to say merry christmas.

Respecting and celebrating all our cultures and beliefs doesn't mean censoring the majority belief. Genocide has been perpetrated in the name of every religion, including Buddhism. Some pretty special things have also been done in the name of every religion.

We worry too much about criticism or criticising instead of worrying about being good people. Too many snowflakes.

Really I think you could make a solid case they're afraid of offending one person and that = INSECURE ironically it would appear to me they offended a whole lot more which is the immaturity, wouldnt surprise if an u21 straight out of tafe did this

You’d be surprised , not sure something simple as that they’d throw to chief editor first . I’ll be filing some feedback to the club. I was filthy at WW decision around Aus day , I still shop there but I spit at the ground if anyone asks for my thoughts on them
