Hardest tip for round 6 - bulldogs vs saints

you're kidding, right? that sort of drivel belongs in bay 13, not here.
Just out of curiosity you do know we kicked bags in the first three rounds without Reiwoldt firing at all, Kosi wont sit and allow Lake to play body on body, he is quicker, taller and will cut him apart on the lead and in the air.

The dogs are not going to get close, bay 13? I'm not allowed an opinion? God even Gehrig cut Lake apart and thats when he was way past playing good footy.

Underestimate us at your own peril fellas.
Trust me we don't underestimate the bullies at all. There back line is more then solid and there midfield is as hard running as they come so it wont be easy. As a saints supporter for 30 years I know how quickly it can come to a crashing halt, at he moment though we are playing like a team posessed so there would be no reason to tip against us for the time being.

Saints flying, Dogs over-rated for mine. St Kilda by plenty... game over at half time. Saints will choke the dogs free-wheeling game and they will punish them on the counter-attack. Good ins for Dogs, but Cooney will be nowhere near 100%. King out for Saints hurts, but have enough to cover him.

Hardest game is Hawks v Blues. If Blues can win/break even in midfield their forwards will take the weak Hawks defence to the cleaners. The problem is Hawthorn have r*ped and pillaged Carlton for years, there may be mental scarring there.

Either that or Bris v Essendon. Bombers on the rise, but lost to North two weeks ago, who, as it turns out, are an absolute shambles. Brisbane also struggling after a flogging from Geelong... but it WAS an awesome Geelong, and they have Gazza. Home ground advantage.

Gehrig is retired and Lake gets sent to the forward line these days because he cant find a suitable fat old dinosaur to match up on.

StKilda by plenty. Surest bet of the round

Well I guess we are right against Collingwood as they have a fat old dinosaur as their main forward focal point in Rocca!

I think the dogs will be the toughest challenge so far this year....

But what do I know! I thought last week against port was going to be the toughest challenge of the year so far......and that was a walk in the park!:p

hmmm, I'll stay conservative....saints by a 3 goals....

Yeah Saints are playing well. However,it is a long season - and form doesn't stay up all year. Even Geelong hit's its lulls - so don't get ahead of yourselves Sainters, and remember we play you again this year - when our boys will be hitting their strides.

Am hoping we win and win well, but am not underestimating the doggies, nor overestimating us! lol

Doggies due for a win. They will be hungry.
And us - well - we are st kilda!! ;)

yeah agree saints.

Hawthorn V Carlton much tougher I reckon, can someone sort me out on that?!?

The whole round is difficult I reckon but going on form I'd say Hawks Blues is hardest. Hawks haven't been great but are a good side, Blues could possibly be good and had a great win last week. I chose Blues.

The Showdown and the derby are also looking hard to pick, tonight I'd have to choose pies but roos could just as easy win.

Saints and Dogs I'd have thought Saints easy but 2 weeks ago I wouldn't have been so sure.

FFS saint supporters keep that LID ON. Its round 6 FFS!!!!

A lot of things can change, the fact is we have played teams that

a) dont like pressure and therefore forfeit skills or
b) have no skills to begin with (fremantle)

the bulldogs are highly skilled so this will be a different ball game. Its round 6 you just dont know it all yet. only come round 15 do we have an idea of the 8 then not til round 22 do we exactly know the 8. Pull ya head in saint supporters PLEASE!!

:thumbsu:

The last thing our boys need is internal pressure from supporters over expecting!! just relax and support

OH i thought the hardest one was geelong vs melbourne...

great sarcasm in the topic :)

St Kilda by 54

cheers to the first couple posters that knocked some sense into me in order to not ignore the saints form

bloody freo though... even when they win they're screwing people over :(

This is 2009 not 2002, Dogs can easily cover with tall backs, lake on kosi morris will take Reiwoldt (cause he rips him, see both games last year) and Williams and tiller to take other talls that may be thrown down there. Clearly haven't watched many dogs games over past couple of years. Forward line is problem, not backline

Hmm .... Discuss ....

And why would you watch the dogs. Like I said Lake is a plodder at best, Lake is appropriate as he is in over his depth, Morris woo he ripped something, like a heartilage Williams?

Boy I wouldn't watch the dogs again real soon either, you on the other hand should study some opposition teams, especially when they're playing great footy, maybe that has been Eade might do better to watch appreciate and learn something instead of yelling expletives at the phone, we know they're shite rocket we know!
