Has anyone been listening to 3aw just now?

They have been talking about the clubs lists and trading prospects. They talked about North a little bit. They said our poor season has flown under the radar, probably because the media dont want to kick us while we are down.

They followed that by saying we have no players with any trade value, we are destined to finish down the bottom for the coming years, we have no youngsters coming through and if you dont follow north who cares anyway?

How's that for not kicking us when we are down?

Made Parkin look a bit stupid.... no one really does their research on the Roos. Every now and again i am pleasently surprised though.

To be honest, we don't have a lot of "fringe" players with a heap of trade value.They weren't saying we don't have any good players, just outsiders with any trade value.And of all the players we do have, Makepeace is probably the only one we could get rid of that has any trade value, and it isn't a lot.A lot of the players we have that are any good we'd be holding on to.As for Parkin, I don't listen to what he says anyway.I listened to him comment in the match against Hawthorn, and he didn't appear to know much of anything about our list, so why anyone would actually bother is beyond me.

Pickering is a player manager,thats the main reason he knows a lot of the younger players.

Pfft the top 5 guys in this years draft are gonna carry their teams ala Carey, Lockett, Ablett have done, we should have a huge boost come March next year in personal, we finally will have a guy capable of winning a game off of his own boot since the great man did it so much! we will play finals not nxt year but the following year, by which time i think we will start building for a premiership challange.

and so am i, i think we will make the finals in the next 10 years considering even next year we will have

4 top 10 picks, a F/S who i think will win the whole rising star competition next year, 2 rising star nominee's this year, and a bumber draft this year, we will definately make the finals in the next 5, let alone the whole decade, our list is still very healthy, showing by the fact with two split reserves they both played strongly, im going to love to see which VFL team wins the raffle for hansen or gumbleton

I usually know something about the youth coming through for each club. However for me it was always Fremantle, who were a joke as a club then, that I failed to have any knowledge of the youth coming through. Now look at them. It gives me hope.
