Ship has long sailed unfortunately. We have figured out attention and the human mind to the point that there is an arms race on minds.

Everything has to be set up as us vs them now because there are too many players taking that adversarial approach. You can try and rise above it but all that means is you can stand proud and tall as you watch those less moral runaway with narratives and you are left alone.

Everyone is so caught up in trying to be divisive. Get over it.

Just get on with your life, make people happy, support one another. Not everything has to be a disagreement.

Noticed that myself , glad that they learnt a thing or two from the severe backlash over Christmas, most clubs said fa except from the generic that freo and ess apologized over that we used to do .

Prob best policy to keep noses out of anything potentially divisive when running a club for ALL , good move if so

The popular vote in the US says that it is going away from left leaning ideologies. Hence we are seeing big brand move away form DEI initiatives.

the AFL and Richmond do not care at all about ethics or morals, only the bottom line... If sponsors dont care about pride month as it dosent help them sell products then we would see a move away from pride posting/support

Polls saying Vics are moving from left to centre with ALP on the nose, and if that is happening, the rest of AU is going right of centre, big time.

Major backlash against excessive welcome to/acknowledgement of country occurring too.

Nah more that we are at the point that companies and campaigns are now using psychs and the like to aid in their campaigns. Psychology is turning out to be one of the greatest double edged swords as the ideas that can help and cure mental sickness can also be used by bad actors.
