What's this minnow medal at this pseudo Anzac day clash?

The Peter Badcoe VC medal. The VC stands for Victoria Cross. You know, the highest military honour not in just Australia, but in the Commonwealth of Nations.

How about you not be a useless piece of shit and have some respect on the most solemn of days. Minnow award? Pull your head in.

:$

And yet I'm sure Puopolo enjoys your complete respect.

Not milking frees, but escaping tacklers.

Not like he has to do much to get taken high, in any case he's not held out to be a 'warrior' and a 'leader'.

Though I do understand your hatred for Burgoyne - he did cost you a spot in the 2013 grand final, after all. :)

It doesn't matter the name given to it, it's a minnow award that shouldn't be named after war heroes.

Oh, but he does do much. Much much more than Selwood does.

Who could hate Burgoyne - had a big part in ending the Geelong drought, and will live with 119 forever.

Was that VC not won for his efforts in the Vietnam war?

What's your point? I'm guessing that you seem to think that Anzac Day is solely about remembering those who fought in Gallipoli.

Wrong. Anzac Day is about remembering and commemorating all of those who have served and lost their lives, those who have been wounded, those who have returned, those who are currently serving and overall, the men and women who have sacrificed their lives in all conflicts, regardless of when or where, in order to protect our rights and freedoms.

Some people. :drunk:

And about making tenuous links between war and footy, up to and including getting offended at somebody bagging a medal for an otherwise unimportant game, simply because the AFL's theme of the week dictated there be a medal named after a notable returned digger?

Is that high horse you're on related to the horses killed in WWI? :drunk:
