Gaff to Sydney doesn’t make any sense considering the move is supposedly to do with his family, particularly his old man. But nothing would surprise me..

We’ve never been linked to Gaff so I’m not too bothered either way.

Which is concerning as he's just the type of A grade mid that we need.

Whoever gets him doesn’t won’t have for the first 2 games next season and you’d think that he’ll be carrying a lot of mental baggage for while. He might seem fine in the regular season games but once finals comes around I think you’ll really see what Gaff’s made of mentally.

I hate the swines with a passion but maybe being in that Sydney bubble is the best thing for him and at the end of the day is only an hour flight to Melbourne to be with his father. Still I find it hard seeing his best football being played on the SCG.

I’d love to have him on the opposite wing to Izzy but I feel his 1st year away from the WC if that’s what he chooses will have a lot of soul searching. If stays with WC he’s have to constantly deal with the day to day talk of the 2018 premiership that he wasn’t apart of due to his own brain fade.

An hour? That's the flying time. You effectively lose half a day in both directions when you factor in the prep, waiting time and travel to / from the airport.

If he wants to be close to his dad he'll live in Melb. If he wants anonymity he'll live in Sydney

I’m sure we’ve gone hard at him but for whatever reason there doesn’t seem to be any noise about us. Some players specifically don’t want to go to certain clubs, it does happen, and maybe that’s the case here.

Schuey didnt sound all the convincing when talking about Gaff. He felt more sorry for Nic Nat than Gaff.

I mean that's understandable.

NicNat missed out through sheer bad luck. Gaff smacked someone in the mouth.

Maybe I'm thinking of someone else. All of these Footy Journo's blur into one as far as I'm concerned.

None of them are actually journalists, in that they are researching well planned, thought out, opinion free editorial. They're a bunch of rumour and scandal mongers. They offer very little insight into anything that's not sensationalist shite, or some 'scoop' that ultimately attempts to elevate them above their peers.

It's a sad state of affairs. But it also reflects workloads, and the demand for sensationalism in the media everywhere pretty much.
