Terrible performance today. Probably the most disappointing yet.

Just watching a player like Tahau that's one of our best drop multiple marks, over run several balls, etc in that last term. Summed it up for me.

We probably were the better team in general play for 3 quarters, but were no where near efficient or effective enough up forward. The kicking straight to the opposition defenders we do when go forward, like we did last week against the Crows is infuriating. So many wasted forward forays, just kicking straight to defenders in a mile of space.

Like the men's team we refuse to even up the numbers ahead of the ball and then just kick to the spare defender all game long.

Poor performance, too many turnovers and couldn't get close enough to the goals to have a decent shot at them.
To think these players are paid, and some of them quite well I seriously expect a lot better.
There is obviously 5 or 6 very good players and I thought Cockatoo-Motlap showed a bit but it really drops away after that.

Thank * that is over. That would be close to the worst game of Australian Rules I have ever seen.

We have managed to kick 1 goal in two games. That is embarassing.
Yep that is 90 minutes of my life I will never get back.
As I previously mentioned 1 goal from 1 dodgy free kick.

Why are they even taking the shots they are. If you can't kick the goals from 25m out, then pass the damn thing, or as team set up for a top of the square kick. Don't just waste a deep F50 entry trying to kick a goal that is physically impossible for you.

There's just zero parts of our team strategy that is setup for creating contests and crumbing from them. Far too many conceded marking contests.

I mean, Dowrick, Ewings and a few others need to be trying to run around the back of these chances for a handball too.

Feels like i've walked into the mens team game day thread.

Depressing.

I'm kinda wondering why we didn't sign up more open-age SANFLW players, everyone's sings the praises of the quality of the league, but apart from the draftees, we only signed up up three players (Ballard, de Melo and Halfpenny)

Essendon and Hawthorn recruited a lot of their talent from VFLW, we have more ex-Gold Coast players than SANFLW open age signings

It was a pretty even game but we just couldn't score. Had what seemed like a stack of set shots from the 30-40 metre range and couldn't even make the distance on most occasions.

Phillips was our best by a long way.

Litonya had some good defensive moments, could be a decent little stopper back there.

We're in desperate need of some key position reinforcements and speed on the outside.

****ed if I can understand why Duursma was dropped. Hammond is terrible I'd get rid of her and stick with C Motlap. Doumanis for DaMelo would be nice, get Houghton back for Syme who had 2 TOUCHES! Plus we miss McGrath.

There's some good stuff there but just too many passengers and a far too heavy presence of see ball get ball players.
