Tigs enquired about him either last year or the year before. Wouldn't be suprised if we made a play with our second rounder which as it stands would be 32.

Would Fremantle be interested in Matthew Watson?
Is currently 2nd in the VFL goal kickers and would thrive in a structured team and more opportunity. Not suggesting a straight swap as Watto would be more speculative now that he hasn't played much AFL in the last two years after his 2013 form patch (ruined late by injury).

Reckon he's the sort of player they often add - a few years in the system, plenty of upside, can slowly integrate him into the team.

Turns 23 today and was drafted in 2010 with #18.
Andrew lovett went for a first rounder, i know that didn't work out but there is evidence of it happening

That was a team St. Kilda stocking up for the cream on the cake for a premiership tilt.
That was also pre free agency. Over the last couple of years, rather then trading teams in a premiership tilt or thought they were in a premiership tilt, North, Swans, Hawks, Essendon have all stocked up with free, free agency signings.
In my opinion, gone are the days you will get a first rounder for a half back flanker when you can get a malceski/higgins/Cooney type for free

Crozier will get plenty of opportunities with Ballantyne out for the year now. Might be a blessing in disguise for us.
When he plays he kicks a goal generally every game. He's one of those types that is perfect for high foward/wing.. Just wish he would play consecutive games, he is too good to be playing WAFL
Agreed. His end of 2014 was excellent. He is a class level above most of the other WAFL footballers, hopefully he is given an extended run up forward for us.

Collingwood have a heap of this type already though. No guarantee of game time at the Pies.
I think Richmond would be a great destination if Croz were to leave, but I would prefer we keep him.
Hopefully it's him and not Duffy. Should be reward for persistence. If he isn't picked this week then surely he'll be thinking going back to Victoria, if not already.

He is the exact type we need and would walk straight into our 22 as we are currently playing spuds there in Morris, Gordon and Lambert. Cream on the cake type that would make us a more dangerous team straight away. Hopeful we are asking!
