Yeah they all looked like thisNot having a crack at your point but just got to mention I watched the Geelong demolition of port in the gf. Every cats player looked like they had about 10 kgs on their port opponents... and who was waiting on the boundary for the cats players when they came off, none other than the weapon.
In hindsight that whole cats setup stinks.
Of course they would, and in most cases they'd find anxiety as the cause, i'm not saying all cases, but most.A medical professional worth their salt will do a through history and physical examination to determine a diagnosis then treat accordingly.
Nonsense.Of course they would, and in most cases they'd find anxiety as the cause, i'm not saying all cases, but most.
100% stinks.Yeah none of those guys were bigger than westhoff..
And I suppose the weapon and dank were just at Geelong with bomber Thompson to keep things as above board as possible.
yeah and i guess 18 year old selwood was towering over his opponent tooShow me some pictures of Mackie, Byrnes, Stokes, N Ablett etc where they're bigger than anybody and I'll buy you a frozen coke.
The only guy on Geelong's list that was abnormally huge was Josh Hunt.
Many published studies confirm the belief that long-term endurance exercise increases the risk for arrhythmia and/or tachycardia. In a league with 600+ players, a few having heart issues here and there isn't surprising. Athletes are people too, and people have medical conditions occasionally.
Mystery solved.
You clearly don't have a clue.Nonsense.
But its a BF post so i guess you can say anything.

I know this isn't what the thread is about, but surely abusing these players for these defects is well and truly out of bounds? A pathetic group of opposition fans at a recent pies game yelled out on a number of times things like "don't have a heart attack Stephenson" "It's about to pop Stephenson, call the ambulance". Would hate to think a parent of the player would hear stuff like that.
Same guy that's in demand all over the world in many different leagues?
No. No idea. As an (former) footballer with both recurring arrhythmia and tachycardia and no clear trigger, I'll have to ask my specialist if its simply anxiety. I might be able come off the beta blockers and forget about undertaking a catheter ablation. You clearly don't have a clue.
Well said.I know this isn't what the thread is about, but surely abusing these players for these defects is well and truly out of bounds? A pathetic group of opposition fans at a recent pies game yelled out on a number of times things like "don't have a heart attack Stephenson" "It's about to pop Stephenson, call the ambulance". Very selective listing.
Most of your players were massive. Not suggesting anything. Just what it was.
What's this new craze of players getting 'shortness of breath', 'irregular heartbeat' and other unexplained heart issues?
Is this new? Or has it always happened and we only hear about it now because of the access to clubs?
Surely this is unusual? Are the players pushing too hard? Are they taking supplements?
Very odd, and quite concerning.
So because you have a genuine heart issue anxiety can't trigger things like arrhythmia or heart palpitations? Lots of people who suffer from panic attacks think they're having a heart attack, it's much more common in young people than genuine heart issues like yours, Flog! No. No idea. As an (former) footballer with both recurring arrhythmia and tachycardia and no clear trigger, I'll have to ask my specialist if its simply anxiety. I might be able come off the beta blockers and forget about undertaking a catheter ablation.
Anxiety may be a trigger, but it's not the cause. So because you have a genuine heart issue anxiety can't trigger things like arrhythmia or heart palpitations? Lots of people who suffer from panic attacks think they're having a heart attack, it's much more common in young people than genuine heart issues like yours, Flog!
one could argue we've had heart issues since pre-Dank when you watch our performances....No heart issues at essendon.
Therefore no doping.
INNOCENT I tells ya, INNOCENT
I know you are most likely taking the piss but there was nothing about Geelongs team size wise that sets them apart from other premiership teams.
