Is this bloke worth keeping ? Another very average score of only 31 today... He seems to be getting tagged every week now and i can't see teams that play Collingwood letting him run free like last year.

Round 1 Price - $570,400
Round 13 Price - $383,400

Scores

Round 8 - 45
Round 9 - 117
Round 10 - 31
Round 11 - 78
Round 12 - 31

Average in past 5 rounds: 60.4

Thats a huge loss over just under $200k.. And needs a break even next week of 125.. So his price will fall even more next week..

There are a few players that you could bring in that are almost the same price including


  • KENNELLY
  • MCLEOD
  • MCPHARLIN
  • BROWN
  • BARRY
So if you have him are you going to trade him or keep him ?
 
i brought him in at what i thought was a bargain price, since then he's managed to score less and less. i have no choice but to keep him but he needs to figure out how to play with a tag.. if not for the pies but for all the sc coaches in the world :D

I got him at full price...waddda!!
 
This year, the backs are so unreliable, so trading him is pointless because the way they are travelling your just as likely to pick up someone whos going to be just as inconsistant.
 
he will poll well next week vs the dogs, and the way the dogs play, he holds the key if collingwood have any chance of winning.
 
He desperately needs to be thrown into the midfield. The Pies are missing his influence, and WE are all missing his influence. If he plays midfield, Swan or Pendlebury will still get the tag, and he'll run riot IMO. He's always been destined for it in my eyes.

I agree x 1,000,000....Myers/SDT/Armfield will score more than H.Shaw will..

Having said that, I paid $570K at the start...so no choice..abit like bradley johnson..I had to pick two donkeys at full-price when I was reluctant to pick Ablett....LOL

Mattner is $461000 :D so I will actually profit from my planned upgrade by $78100 also allowing straight swap Palmer -> Bartel!

Wouldnt touch Shaw until he starts stringing two good games together like Gilbee did.

Imagine if you had Gilbeee, Shaw and Mcleod in your backline the last month or so? What a fricken nightmare! LOL! :p

looking down the barrel of losing my league match by about 100 points (going on shaws recent form)...pulls me over the line by 5 points.

I LOVE YOU MR SHAW.
 
Think I will wait another week and see what happens with Cornes. If not I might go Shaw, but woould need to put 2 good game together.

Considering they are playng the Swans this week I can't see it happening :cool:
