Heard from Nth Bgo sources that Bomber tore muscle off the bone in the practice match. That being the case looking at least a minimum of 6 weeks on the sidelines.

Could also hamper the remainder of his season, as my understanding is that it takes a while for the muscle to heal itself. I'm no Doc Larkins tho, so don't quote me on that !

Yeah Stormboy I have asked around myself and have been told the same and that he will miss the year. And that he has retired but has only told those close to him, very sad if true because he is a great bloke. He won't be lost to footy

Yes Bomber is a great bloke and a great clubman. Actually saw him hobbling around the supermarket yesterday morning. Looks a bit worse than what has been reported !

White Hills defated Newbridge in a close encounter was close all game, until White Hills opened up in the third quarter kicking 5 goals to none. Final margin around 10pts. Also heard Huntly and YCW played with a close result.

Heathcote had their last hit out before round 1 against Diamond Creek getting home by about 18 points in the end,some very good signs for the coming season
