Heathcote DFL discussion 2025

Can anyone share information on how practice matches went for HDFNL clubs over the weekend?

Been pretty quiet on here lately…went down and watched WH on the weekend. Some good kids running around and hopefully not as bad as people are predicting.

Not a good start for white hills being pumped by an average K flat side and then there coach already been shown the door…. Might be a long year for the hillies

What’s happened with the coach?

I made comment here a couple of years ago that their pursuit of a flag may break em
You make comment on everything. Didn’t you comment a few years back that their president was telling anyone who’d listen they do whatever it took to win a flag, even ignore the salary cap, seemingly meaning you’re happy to question a blokes morals, but don’t like mud being thrown back.
They’ve been around the mark the last 4-5 years, they won the flag last year, they’ve lost both coaches from last yhen, with quite a few players joining them.
They’ve had strong reserves and 18’s teams the last few years going on success, so it’s an opportunity to play some blokes/kids who’ve missed opportunities owing to the senior teams success last year.
North Bendigo have been exceptional in regards to remaining in the mix, for the best part of the last 12-15 years. Plenty of other clubs have won flags then slipped down the ladder, which is never the ideal scenario for any club. Proof will be in the pudding over the next couple of years.

They had there opportunity to go out and recruit a really good coach during the year when Fallon already announced he was moving on. Just obviously weren’t proactive enough because they had plenty of time.

Earthmover. The white hills football club will go from premiers to wooden spooners & if it wasn’t for fallon being such a well liked bloke , they would have finished last again .
Enjoy another 30 year rebuild to all st Scott street

Couldn’t agree more.

Yep I enjoy talking about country footy

From all reports it’s seems to have bought the playing group closer together at the Hillies. Everyone is entitled to there opinion but wouldn’t say it’s all doom and gloom.
Just wondering if anyone knows of a team that’s won the premiership than the wooden spoon the following year?
Could be on the cards this year
