Elmore V Colbo game looks to be a cracker on paper. Match ups should be something like this

Grant V OBrien
Cavallo V Hill
Kay v Johnston
Trollop V Weeks
Cail V Knight

If Elmore can win around the centre they go along way to winning the game as they have to keep it out of the Colbo forward line as alot of avenues to goal. Elmore have a ruckman whereas I dont think Colbo do at present. I also see less avenues to goal for Elmore but Colbo dont play small forwards very well.
On paper one of the games of the year and for all those who thought Elmore were going backwards if they win Saturday firmly entrenched as premiership favourites. Cant say the same for Colbo as havent played LBU or Heathcote

Having played both sides I'm tipping Colbo by as much as 5-6 goals. They have more depth. Guy Rathgen is in the twos and there are other players coming back this week from injury.

In addition, they're predicting cold and wet on Saturday and it was cold and wet when Elmore lost to LBU. Maybe they don't like getting muddy! haha

What about the other games this weekend. Plenty of potential close ones. Our game has everything to play for. If North don't win this weekend they haven't improved enough this year to be serious. And Huntly have a shot at getting a win on the board and potentially handing over the spoon to Whie Hills.

I would concentrating on your own back yard if i was you MtMen. You boys are as good a chance as any for the wooden spoon this year.

Locky should beat everybody up there mate this year so North losing wont mean diddly squat! Elmore should beat Colbo as i'v seen both play too and colbo weren't that flash, and as for mounts, you lot should be very worried about finishing bottom 2. Although it is nearly cheque book time...........:D

Was that 1's or 2's:D

Too bad Rob Lecek retired. Could have covered him with one hit wonders from the 80's
Who is the oldest player in Elmore's forward line?
Trav may pick up aggotts. Then its every ball for themselves;)

My tips

Elmore by 28pts
Huntly by 21pts
locky by 42pts
heathcote by 61pts

My prediction is a dismal round for thrills and spills. James and Weeks will both have days out tho.............

Have heard on the grapevine that elusive forward line player Juddy Hancock has quit Heathcote, signing up with Mitiamo. Also hear several other Sainters are looking for new homes elsewhere. Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah Fantom heard this also. Sounds like the back wheels are about to fall off out that way. Perhaps BUmpig or the Birdman can enlighten us. Fantom also believes that if you hear a good rumour, whether there is one ounce of truth in it or not, the least you can do for the community is spread it:D

If there are any past Colbo Players or committee people out there or you know of anyone can you e-mail yours or there details to colbopastplayer@optusnet.com.au

Also the Colbinabbin Coach Brent Millar turns the ripe old age of 32 for the big game against Elmore tomorrow. Happy Birthday Funk.

Miller is not 32. I remember when he was working at 3BO I had a little bit to do with him he was 35 then Im sure.

That boy could eat too, everytime that I came in he was eating a donut with Cogho and there was another presenter too (forgot his name) or he was eating a hot dog from wendys or about to do a hot dog run. He loved his food

Does he still eat like this?

Dave, you know that the Freak has gone to the greener and windy pastures of Mitiamo....I don't know about anyone else going. I'd be more concerned about the one's that might be coming!!:D

bang cop that juddy, nice thanks for your service.

No ticker let him go,i hope the freak has a go at Mitiamo

Mitiamo 11.17-83 def.11.9-75 Inglewood
Best Players: L. Mitchell, J. Ginnivan, G. Orton, J. Hancock, T. Grant, A. McKean

I think the Freak has had more than a go, judging on the above performance, good luck to him for the rest of the season. It's a pity to read the cheap shot about no ticker Big Ump, especially when he has been more than a loyal servant to both footy and cricket Clubs.

I've seen a few games this year but what the hell happened at White Hills today? The HAwks would have thought they were a chance but got smashed?? They would have to be disappointed out Huntly way.

Why does Hamilton play B.Long at FB and not on the ball? Having seen their team, a midfield of the Longs, Clohesy and Kennedy would be a handy enough start. Oh well, hopefully they improve over the season for their and the league's sake.

Your right saintsby,i take it back he has been good for both clubs,i should have said that during the week he had a talk to the coach and the coach told him the truth that their was about 4 players in line before him to get into the 1's and yes your right Famtom Jacques will be back next week so that really shut the door on him playing 1's.

Best of luck to Freak for the rest of the season

Hmmm Jacques back to Heathcote. Why does that name ring a bell?
Is this the same Jacques that Heathcote got rid of over the trouble he caused last year ?? If so, they have gone out and recruited a forward pocket position player, that they already had at the Club. Doesn't make sense??? No wonder the Freak has left for greener and windier pastures....

Aggots was probably best on for 3 qtrs. Being 6 goals up at 3 qtr time, I expected Elmore to win comfortably. Strong breeze blowing to the golfcourse end, but Elmore couldn't buy a goal in that last qtr. Sirrett the sasquatch kicked a big goal from outside 50, weeks and brown kicked quick goals and colbo kept up momentum to come out winners by a solitary goal. Tom Longford was good for Elmore, thought Ian Kay had a rare off day. having seen all 'top 5' teams, think Elmore will certainly be in the mix come finals.

Get your story right,it was over a incindent involing his father, this boy is a bit better than a forward pocket
