Gameday Live likes to change within an hour after completion of Champion Data ranking points, however, in the Rich v Carl game:

Chris Newman 113
Graham Polak 109

Nick Stevens killed it, was BOG, doesn't feature.

*note - I don't have Graham Polak, so don't get too worried I am dominating, :p

So far: 2029

with scores needed from:
Ryan GRIFFEN (Dogs) 75
Nathan FOLEY (Rich) 90
Bryce GIBBS (Carl) 60
Brendan FEVOLA (Carl) 60
Alwyn DAVEY (Ess) 55

with those predicted totals after seeing their performances, I should get around 2370

Holy ****, that's AWESOME! :p

hi, im new to this whole thing. Just wondering if kerrs 225 is unusual or some record, seems massive when ive always dealt with dream team. Sorry if this has been mentioned already.

I got Trav Cloke in my supercoach team as my 6th forward. Is it worth trading him for N Ablett? Frees up a bit of cash and Nabletts price will just skyrocket after today. Plus i think hell score better than T Cloke. What do you people think?

Each year there are only about 4-5 scores over 200

Kerrs was massive cos of the amount of contested ball he got, and his effectiveness, etc.

Brown, Buckley and Hodge (?) got over 200 in games last year.

The one that was real suprising was Jimmy Clement, 196 generated from a key backmen. He scored heavily because of his contested marks (5) of which all came from opposition kicks (something like 8 for a mark from an opposition, but 16 if its contested, for memory)

I'll be doing just that.

Was bored so I checked my score through FanFooty: 2039

That is OK considering I was 3 men down (forgot to name emergencies and my captain didn't play) and did not fix it once since entering it initially. Don't really care much for SC anyway.

I don't get it why everyone is like this, I mean, FFS, $20,000 + $5,000 AND $1,000 weekly, as well as better chances of scoring big despite not getting plenty of it.

I was like that last year...

...Super Coach, to me anyway, seems a bit, well, random?...

I mean, in DT most players tend to get reasonably consistant scores, but in SC a players can go all over the place...too many variables which cause too much of a point swing...

...Having said that, I spent far more time on my SC team this year than DT! :D ...and seem to be enjoying it more.

I got about 2200, with Krackaur (Port) in the forward line and about $500k in the bank.
Just wasn't sure which forward to take! Didn't think Johnno would perform as well this year with McDougal and Aker onboard (of course he won't kick 8 every week, but still)...
...wasn't sure how Pav would go with Tarrant roaming the same area...Chapman coming of injury and limited pre-season...Lucas' numbers should drop with Lloyd back, Riewoldt out...

JUST PICK ONE OF THEM WOULD YOU!!!

(At least I didn't pick Brown and make him Cpt. like a "friend" did in the Elite league. D'oH!)

Milburn
Johncock
Bassett
McPhee
Birchill
X. Clarke
Kosi
Mitchell
Black
Priddis
Kerr
Pendlebury
Lappin
Hudson
Sandilands
O'Keefe
Fev
C. Jones
Mooney
Bock
Franklin
Krakaur

...a self indulgent what-if...

...like I said, I originally had J. Carr and Rodan in place of Mitchell and Priddis....throw in a quality forward and I could have easily topped 2400.
But, I didn't!

Reckon Priddis will go (although he won't be the only player this year to have a crap score v. Sydney)
Not happy with either ruck score, but still don't think there's a lot of better options...
Not convinced Fanklin can score much higher than that either...?

Oh well, still in the game I think at least.

From the backline:
Pleased with most efforts. Cornes(88) should play better next match and get around the 140 mark. Also Chris A Johnson(60), i guess you get what you pay for here but i was expecting more. Somewhere around the 70-80 mark next week please.

Centres:
Black(316) did a great job captain. Stevens(102) was solid. Foley(89) and Riska(87) were also impressive for the first game. But then it comes to Higgins(54) and Griffen(57) where it all went wrong. Higgins is now on the pine for Lappin and Griffen needs to lift or hes out.

Rucks:
Sandi(87) was dominate in the first quarter but did nothing much else. With Cox the late withdrawal made it super hard to post a decent score, and without an emergency.

Forwards:
The forwards were mostly very solid but Waite(70) and Monfries(64) let me down.

Ressies:
What you would expect here. They will get better with increased game time so im not going to ridicule them.

Overall not a bad score of 2190 from the Might & Power.

A very frustrating 1974.

Cox left me a man down.
Goodwin just 6.
Bruce as captain was a mediocre choice.
Rodan on the bench.

Still, my side has potential.

..............................

TOTAL SCORE:
2,254 560th

without looking at the $ I'm going to try and swap Ball and Ottens for Simon Black + 90,000 ruckman

first couple of round mean nothing all the younger players are fired up, a lot of the guns are still finding their feet.

personally ive decided to show some faith in my team selection and hold onto my players through the first 5 or so rounds.

but i must admit...if luke ball and matty lappin keen getting ****ty scores ill be forced to trade.

My team, ThefatkidinAuskick, scored 2369, 79th overall.

Basically fluked it but great advice at the start from mainly Tennant and others on here so thanks again fellas. We'll see how things go from here.
