With Knobel and Simmonds out, Joel Bowden is going to play full back for the next few weeks at least, whilst Polak pinch hits in the ruck and up forward.

My strategy is to trade him if he has another bad week (for someone like X) and pick him up again (at a much cheaper price) when Richmond finally have all their talls up and firing (around round 7 i reckon). Thursfield will be due back also so hopefully that will further alleviate the defensive burden Joel will need to deal with for the next few weeks yet...

Thoughts?

As a tiger fan this was the exact reason I did not pick Joel Bowden in my side. He was a fantastic scorer last season, however he was playing the sweeper role then.

Knowing our injuries this pre-season, Bowden played most practice games as our full-back. In that role he was never going to rack up the same numbers as last season.

As you said until we get a couple of talls back to free him up again I doubt you will be seeing anything like the scores from last season from him.

You strategy to pick him up mid-season may be a winner.

What's everyones thoughts on X.Clarke, Solomon and Polak? I'm considering trading Sinclair for one to free up some cash.
I have Clarke and Polak.

Soloman's score was a once off and will most likely cause you pain at the tribunral.

Both Clarke and Polak have their fors and againsts but if Clarke can stay injury free i recommend him....just.:thumbsu:

Richitelli on a massive 98 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter! And i have him!

Top 5 from the Lions V STK match at the 10 min mark:

Riska-98

462 from 3 (plus captain). NDS, Black and Goddard from tonight.

It goes downhill from here though. I have 7 cheap players in my 22. :p

hey does any1 know y afl.com doesnt show every1s rankings on gameday live like last year, now it only shows top 5:(

Meh, got 240 last night with 3 players playing

Gehrig, well, he is useless in some games, but that was the risk of getting him, he will have the huge gap between big and small, but for his price, it may get you over the line in a week (like last week).

Black did well despite not dominating, and Kosy is Kosy, everyone is happy and pleased with his score, anything more than 60 you should be happy with, i mean, look at his price.

At 240, that is an ave of 80, proj total to early to work out, but is only 1840. What I got to remember is last night, one cheap player, one mid-high player and one high player played, so on ave, you would go 60, 80, 100 on expected contribution, so in the end, i am well ON PAR.
