I'm going to use one trade on Shaw to Johncock.

Can someone help me out with the second, and last trade I have:

Should I go Goodes to Hodge now, or hold on to the trade until the GF (given I have Chapman and Burgoyne too)?

Or I can wait on the Goodes->Hodge trade, but Hodge is only going up in value, and if Goodes plays and gets injured again... he will drop, and I won't be able to afford Hodge.

Veszpremi looks good but i don't know how he will go holding his spot in the team. Maric is more likely to hold his spot i think and the 2 port boys look alright as well.

Yeah fair call Foxy. Just noticed Moore and Malceski to come back in this week. Surely they would give vespi a few weeks but.

Yeah, that's why I was leaning towards M.Farmer...likely to hold his place with all of Port's outs.

Anyone know where I can get the time on ground stats from the weekend?

I call this supercoach carnage.

Or panic.

:)

Do I detect a hint of schadenfreude Big Man? :p

Not too many would have been hit with the dids / shaw double like me, risk mamangment for the rest of the season, my precious ranking will probably plummet. :(

Help!!!!!!

Here is my dilemma.

Backline reads -

Mattner, Newman, Bradshaw, Stiffy, Taylor, Womaeamerri, Lower

Bench - C.Cornes, H.Shaw

Forward line reads -

Franklin, J.Brown, O'Keefe, Pavlich, Johnson, Valenti, Tippet

Bench - Chapman, Porpliza

I have one trade left. What is the best option?

Should I trade C.Cornes for Mcleod or someone else (not sure who)

or

Should I trade Porpliza for either Harding or Monfries (don't like any of these options to be honest)

If Tippet comes back I was thinking of maybe playing with him as my 7th forward and then waiting the week after to get Barry Hall as he is forecast for a $7,000 price drop and then I could do a straight swap from Porps to Hall.

I hopefully will have Chappy back the week after as I have the double chance.

Where is my trade best used, forward or back? Really need alot of opinions on this one as its killing me. I have $29,800 in the bank too.

Cheers! :D:thumbsu:

Salter got whacked behind the ears in a marking contest in the second quarter...
...spent the entire second half off the ground.

Looks very likely to put up some decent numbers (he's a thumping kick, and accurate...good mark...very solid lad!)...IF he plays this week tho.

Farmer was good too. Played most of the game. (Sorry, just threw Monday's paper out! )

Going to upgrade Priddis this weekend, but can't work out who out of Hodge, Kirk, Cooney, Corey or Judd to get. I'm leaning towards Kirk/Hodge, Kirk's cheaper and with the Swans fighting for a top 4 spot he always delivers when needed. However Hodge has a fairly easy run home, but his run with injuries/suspensions worry me.

Any thoughts?

Can afford to trade Shaw for any backman. Currently have:
Newman, Gilbee, Shaw, Johncock, Birchall, Ibbotson, Head (McKenzie & Proud).

Am leaning towards Fisher, but my options are:
Fisher (ave: 97.67) $490k
Waite (ave: 97.71) $485k
Pratt (ave: 97.06) $475k
Goddard (ave: 95.44) $463k
Gram (ave: 87.11) $445k
Bradshaw (ave: 93.25) $432k

Who should I take?
EDIT: Actually, I forgot Joel Bowden (ave: 104) $557k

With the run the Tigers have coming home, I'd grab Bowden.
In terms of value for money (depending how many trades/cash you have left) Fisher or Bradshaw the pick of the rest.

I'd get Fisher. Has been ultra consistent compared to other backmen this year.

Give up...start 2009.

Can someone please help me???
Who should i go for
A) Cooney with about 70K in the bank, with the risk he may be dropped
B) Kirk with little in the bank
C) Dal Santo, ditto with Kirk
D) Someone else under 525000
Cross is another option if you want consistency in your mids.
Judd's an option

Cooney looks outa form
Kirk's had 3 bad games now
Dal Santo is up and down (though he plays the pies saturday..biggie coming up)

Any chance you could make that 525k --> 536k and get Hodge ?
or 526k for Corey ?

In this world where Johncock gets dropped, Chapman gets injured twice in a year, Captain Ablett Brownlow favourite rolls on his own ankle, Didak and Shaw - get suspended for the whole season together and Carlton beats Collingwood twice in the same year - I wont worry too much about Hodge's "injury/suspension" record - Get him he's on a roll

OK my dilemna now - Shaw and Didak out - Iv just about had enough for the year - so for my final 2 trades - Which combination would you take for a back and a forward respectively ?

Waite/Newman & Murphy/Aker

Goddard & Murphy/Aker/Hall/Mcpharlin

Roughead/Mcdonald (if back) & All of the above/Brad Johnson

Birchall/Welsh(Playing midfield) & All of the above/Roughy/SJ/Gian

Mcleod & Deledio/Richo/Waite

Moran & Pav/Lloyd/N Brown

Current Backs
Shaw, Johncock, Osborne, Thornton, Bradshaw, Kennelly, Bock (SDT,Hans)
Current Forwards
Didak, Chapman, Mooney, O Keefe, Buddy, Fevola, Rioli (Valenti,Tippet)

All help appreciated.
