Okay guys... need some help. With DT not opening, I'm still changing my SC team despite being happy with it.

P.Burgoyne + J.Fraser

OR

C.Newman + D.Cox

To be honest I see the first combination averaging about 185-90, and the second about the same, perhaps 5 or so less. The only worry is Fraser being prone to injuries. I'm not convinced with Newman though.

*By the way, the rumour with Fraser is that he has a VERY minor injury. But according to Scott Burns he is definately fine and will play.
I would take Burgoyne and Fraser if I HAD to chose one, but If you do that, get a backup ruckman who will be playing games.

dude this question has been asked over and over again. no one knows for sure and people who tell you otherwise are bs'ing.

based on stats Selwood has played better than McNamara or Ebert and with Masten comin through the WAFL you would assume he would be #1 in line at the Eagles. Many will tell you otherwise. pfeiffer and Taylor have both played reasonably well in the pre-season. some say Taylor is ahead of longeran to replace Egan for the first half of the season. some dont.

Bird has been a star but Sydney suck at playing rookies plus Jack, Barlow and even Moore have all played well. Morton impressed the two games he has played but hes a runt. Palmer is possibly leading the charge of midfield rookies but you can never be sure.

So just get a coin, flip it several times and make a decision.

screw that! just pick up all 7!!

;)

fair enough mate
sat do u make of cross/dalsanto or hayes/ablett?

Riewoldt vs Chapman, flip a coin. Chappy will be marginally more consistent but Roo is likely to hit the 150 mark more often.

A fit Chappy is worth every cent. Will he be 100% for round 1? Anybody's guess.

Polak did me well last year in SC, I picked him up on the cheap. Dropped off a little towards the end of the season from memory. He's a little more expensive this year and with McMahon coming in and King developing more he could drop in output. I don't like Gram for SC, personal preference. Stiffy imo is a good buy but he's not 'elite'.

Chapman or Riewoldt?
Whose more likely to be more consistent?
Whose more likely to start better/worse?

Was thinking of downgrading B.Johnson to Deledio, thoughts?
If I had to pick one, I'd say Riewoldt BUT I think there are better options than those 2.

Delidio is a forward for Richmond. They arent gonna be getting much of the ball down there!

anyone think that chapman is worth the $
No, Better options. Should go down in price, so get him later if you really need to.
Whats is Polak like in super coach?
Also who would you choose Gram or Johcock?

Polak is a decent player, as long as teams dont pick him up in defense. Same as J. Cloke and Jacobs. Good playing loose man, rubbish if someone is on them.

As for Gram and Johncock, Pick both if you can, otherwise get Johncock.

What's the general feeling towards Adam Hartlett as a cheap defender as opposed to Ellis or Nicoski. He is about $100k cheaper than them and I'm pretty sure he will be lining up round 1, which I don't think I could confidently say about the other two. He also seems to put up better numbers in SC than DT and his last two NAB challenge games he got a 59 & 71 in DT scores.

Also what about Wood over Simmonds. It seems that Wood may have put up better numbers than Simmonds but who is likely to go up more in value.

I like what I have seen of Adam Hartlett, the problem is he is so injury prone. So many hamstring injuries have really cut him down.

Fellas!!!!
Your opinions are wanted!
I am pretty happy with my back line.
In the MID i am thinking of upgrading Murphy - BUT FOR WHO? (i have 74k in the bank)
I am also thinking of trading Deluca for Hampson or similar.
I am thinking of trading out Lloydy!!!???
What do you think???

MIDFIELDERS: thompson, embley, n.stevens, griffen, houli, palmer, geary, bird

just wondering... playing a midfield like this is it too risky?

also a second question fevola or hall? both seem like they have an x-factor
hall seemed to have a good preseason whereas
carlton has a stronger midfield this year means fevola should be supplied the ball more?

Nah, in my opinion, a nice amount of risk ;)

(hell, if you're feeling risky, trade Thompson out for another rookie.)

Hall and Fev. Both were in my first squad. One of them is gone. :)

But both have very high potential so I wouldn't be suprised to see at least one of them hit the mid 500's

Okay... In general you have too many midranged players and not enough premiums.

I like your Rucks...lock them in.
Forwards seem okay...keep them for now. (Would much prefer Browny and Pavlich in there somewhere). ALso Vince and Porplyzia are both risks. You might wanna move Bradshaw into the Backs. One of my favourite players last year was Hooper. Not much talk about him so maybe pull out Bradshaw from the back sand move Hooper in his spot.

Mids... where to start...
Murphy ==> straight swap for gibbs
Priddis ==> dont know how good he's going to go this year. I would rather go 2 out of Goodes/Cross/Hayes than Priddis and Swan
Coughlan ==> shit pick. Houli a mich better option.

Griffen and Stevens seems fine.

Backs...
I would downgrade a couple of the middle of the road players and move in another premium like Gilbee, Fisher, Shaw.

Thats about it.

i don't think coughlan is a shit pick. Hes gonna play every game as long as he doesn't hurt his knee again. Houli on the other hand isn't assured of his spot every week.

Think your on the ball. I got rid of priddis and Coughlan. In came Dal Santo and Houli (not too sure on).
And i slipped PAV in up forward instead of Lloydy.
Cant go wrong from here surely?
