Fortunate for you that Essendon's previous administrations implemented such an excellent deal at Etihad, it appears to have literally been idiot proof.

Collo helped us out there, good man.

Unfortunately he left nothing left for the Bloos, but thems the breaks

Also Kochie, take out depreciation (look it up, it's what happens when the bay covers fade) and amortisation (generally associated with goodwill / brand, though your club is only 15 years old so prob doesn't have that yet), cold hard cash was around $4m in surplus.

Yet as the the proud owner of two players currently under infraction, you'd think some of it would've spilt your way too?
Better than being the proud owner of just two (2) players currently not under infraction.

Oh there they are, but you're 20 players short, better get drafting :thumbsu:

You made a profit, we made a prelim.

I know what I'd prefer.

Maybe you can get Essendones financials framed and put up on the wall to admire when you'll be playing 32 top up VFL players in the big time next year?

prelim > profit.

EBITDA is not cold, hard cash. It's a nebulous financial term, quite often used by those wanting to mislead others about the true cash generating potential of their business. You may want to take a closer look at the accounts. If you do, you may come to the conclusion - although I'm not holding my breath - that the club actually burnt through $346.82K of cash. In other words, there was actually a cash loss, not a cash surplus and the net debt level actually increased from 2013 to 2014. Seems they serve Kool Aid on and off the field at Tulla.

You're getting lost in the detail son.

Take a step back, we have much to teach our Alberton brothers and are here to help.
