Bill Pulver says hello. Take a look at the financial mess that the ARU inRidiculous comparison given that the clubs in that comp are largely on their own with no equalisation payments or grants. You're welcome to judge his financial prowess on what he delivers this year. He was to be the next CEO of Australian Rugby, not a position you would get if you don't have the skills.

So why didn't he get the job then instead of Pulver if he was so well suited to the position? How does that relate to the fact that Fagan was seen as the logical choice for CEO to sort out their problems?
So why didn't he get the job then instead of Pulver if he was so well suited to the position?
Pulver had no prior involvement with rugby. Obviously Fagan was not wanted and was one of the reasons why he looked elsewhere.
If he was so well thought of in the ARU, he would have been head hunted to get the job before Pulver. Obviously the ARU did not think much of him at the time.He didn't apply for the job, he was slated to replace Pulver. Get your facts in order Nelso.

So Fagan quits the Brumbies only months after signing a one year contract extension and then comes out and admits he was thinking about leaving for the past four years. Is that a fact! Why wasn't Thomas headhunted prior to going to Port? I mean of he was so well regarded and all....

His heart was really in the job was it? Or was that because the ship was sinking fast?
He should fit in well at the Camries.

You won't find a single past or present Brumbies board member who was sad to see him go. Some are shocked that he got another job in club land. Brumbies sold off their major asset under his management, sold off sponsorship cheap, lived beyond their means and are now in big financial trouble. So Fagan quits the Brumbies only months after signing a one year contract extension and then comes out and admits he was thinking about leaving for the past four years.

I like how he said I leave the organisation in good shape. Who does that remind you of?

Yep and for the last four years while he was there he did not want to be there. So a guy was loyal despite the fact he wanted a change. That's a bad trait? He's no John James is he. You also neglected to mention that he was in the role for 12 years.
Lolz

Inspiring stuff from your CEO.
He doesn't , but our Chairman whose financial credentials are unquestionable, has a team in place to deal with that side. Fagan's expertise is in overall club management which includes overall management of the club's P+L.
Does rob chapman actually exist?
Here's a question for Rob Chapman.
"When Stephen Trigg told him that they re-signed Tippett in 2009 with "managable risk" did you ask Trigg what that "manageable risk" was?"
Here's a few follow up questions.
"If you didn't ask what the "manageable risk" was, doesn't this make you incompetent and shouldn't you stand down?"
"If you did ask what the "manageable risk" and Trigg lied to you why didn't you sack him immediately after the Crows cheating was exposed and shouldn't you stand down for not doing so?"
"If you did ask what the "manageable risk" and Trigg told you the truth doesn't that make you also a cheat and shouldn't you stand down?"
Yep, Rob Chapman, unquestionable ... only if your a dimwitted Crows supporter.
Trigg offered his resignation it wasn't accepted. Mostly due to the impact of the club moving to AO and the stage that was at. If Trigg was rotten to the core, why did the AFL not intervene in his appointment at Carlton? Chapman is guilty of trusting what he was told in this situation and he was let down.
Chapman knew everything about Tippettgate at the time and made Triggy the fall guy to save his own skin. He's the guy not presiding over another multi million dollar loss. Where's Kochie?
Chapman knew everything about Tippettgate at the time and made Triggy the fall guy to save his own skin.
And what about his promise to the members and supporters that he would explain everything about what happened with Tippetgate?
Where's Chapman when you need him to tell the truth?
So you say he was lied to and is incompetent? After all, everyone knew that Trigg was a lying piece of crud now we know he is a cheating lying piece of crud.
