Looks like there might be two superior teams this year unlike in 2007 when there was none and 08 when there was one.

Unlike the two previous years the creampuffs look as if they will need to beat a good side to even make the GF.

I would not be putting money on Geelong to beat a good side in any final.

When you look at Buddy/Roughead, Kosi/Roo and Mooney/Hawkins there is a plainly obvious deficiency in the handbag brand.

Have a look at club culture and it is a 1 horse race.

The reigning runners up are a realistic chance to go out in straight sets this year which would be absolutely hilarious.

What a deflating season for the 51 of 54ers:eek:

You lost to the club with the worst list in the AFL. Bradbury 08 ftw.

Shitta, dont mislead the bigfooty population mate. You wont be putting money on Geelong because you dont have any after the Bombers made you and that thread of yours like right-royally stupid

Is there a cure for repetitive bullshit syndrome?

If there is, be a good person and give my good friend shotta the antidote.

9-0, how does this prove we will go out in straight sets?

Awesome at winning H&A matches I will admit. But a team less able to step up to the big occasion and play their best footy I have never seen in my twenty some years of watching footy.

St Kilda would annihilate you atm we would give you a run.

I guess getting to the grand final the last two years mean shit to you?

Yeah when your easily the best team in the leauge and you limp to the grand final nearly getting beaten by crap teams ie pies 07 and dogs 08. I wouldnt pat myself too hard on the back for getting there twice. Especially when you lost to us when you were way better on paper and we were two down, yep I said it.

Interesting thread this one.

"It's highly unlikely the handbaggers can take the next step."

"Hawthorn would give Geelong a good run at the moment."

This time last year, it'd have been "There's no chance in hell the handbaggers will take the next step" and "Hawthorn will smash Geelong".

Looks to me like there's a bit of a crisis of confidence amongst Hawks fans at the moment.

While this thread is a bit over the top, Geelong definitely don't seem as dominant as they have in the past 2.5 years.

This year they have surrended large leads on multiple occasions where they have been lucky to fall across the line. When you couple this with their below (their own) average performance in big games when at their peak, and the fact that all year their key forward has looked like a ticking time bomb, just waiting to choke on the big stage, I also wouldn't be betting on Geelong in the finals.

That said, they are still the best team in the comp, and it is still up to them to lose as much as it is up to someone to beat them. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Oh sorry if your after definite wording? Here goes. We'd beat you with a near to full list. We'd comfortably beat you in a finals match.

After watching Hawthorn play on the weekend, I can guarantee you they are no threat to Geelong.
