Glade you are enjoying it! Along with 'The Last Of Us' it is one the most enthralling creative worlds I have ever experienced in video games.

Could try as a movie, just be harder to fit it all in maybe... some amazing miniseries with incredible CGI have been made, so reckon it could be done.

Yep, utterly ridiculous. The TLOU part 1 remake was bad enough, I mean its a great game but how many times do you want me to ****ing play it Sony??

Any danger of having your best studios focus on proper sequels or god forbid even new IP at any stage?

Where the **** is the TLOU multiplayer/factions game, while I'm ranting. Part 2 came out over 2 years ago now, insane :drunk:

Not me these days. I've also become somewhat of a "patient gamer" and pretty much wait for everything to be sub 20 bucks or free on gamepass/PS Plus. I think GoW is going to be my first day one purchase in a looooong time.

Horizon Zero Dawn is probably my favourite ps4 game of all time.

But I never finished Forbidden west. I'm going to give it another chance bit something about it didn't click with me the first time around.

Aloy's story

finds a chipped earpiece when she was a kid that lets her communicate with the machines. Hilarity ensues

Good thing it is only a $10 upgrade. Because I am planning on taking out a small loan to buy the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V Super-Duper-Deluxe Remastering-Remake-Reimagined Special Edition PS5 Pro edition. I’ve heard it’s going to be the bomb.
 
I'm a 54yo with a wife who enjoys sitting on the couch watching her husband play video games...thank you, yes, my life is awesome...

She got right into HFW while I was playing it, and insisted I revisit HZD because she wanted to follow the backstory. I ummed and uhhed...got a few games sitting there which need completing. Relented, dug out the old PS4 version - and discovered it's been destroyed by NQ's humidity, which destroys plastic up here. Wasn't going to get the remaster, but had to...loving it...

This is seriously the best game that's ever been invented...really dreading the TV show, because it's odds on they'll f### it up badly...

I just finished another playthrough of this on PC the other day. I started off without the remaster and it still looked really good then after a couple hours bought the remaster and the upgrade was huge. Almost on par with Forbidden West.
 
This is a game I wish I could play "for the first time" again! Intriguing story (even if a little convoluted), amazing visuals and the audio was on point - the first time you hear that sawtooth stomping around was great! This game impressed me far more than Breath of the Wild did and would have been my pick for GotY that year.

There's a lot of games I really enjoyed but only few have that first time feels to them like this did. (Ghost of Tsushima and Witcher 3 are others that spring to mind)
