dunno either - perhaps be more like my dad - keep on whinging that they had nothing growing up cos of all the post war rationing ... (in UK).
Admittedly which was worse I think than in the actual war, think that was one reason why so many Poms came over here back then. Still not sure why 50's is always looked back on as a golden age.

Hate to say this but 40's you can get away with it - I really noticed the difference in body / ageing once I hit my early 50's ....
Just can / could not do some of my activities in the same way anymore (Karate, Yoga) ...
