That game never gets mentioned in choking talks for one simple reason. It wasnt a choke.

I was at the game that night and I'll tell ya, there was a howling breeze favouring Sydney's end in the final quarter. Would have been worth minimum 11-12 goals to the team kicking with it (i.e. Sydney). So to only get outscored by 6 goals, St Kilda were the real winners in a way.
