I'd be livid if these pricks get one ..
They won't.
They were in a grand final three years ago.
They also gave away a first round pick two years ago which could have been used to start refreshing their list then. They chose to pass it up that night. Do not deserve help two seasons after such a neglect of list re-generation.
They do not deserve anything but to learn from their stupid mistakes and improve their ways with list management and culture of their people running the joint.
If the dopey pricks still go shit for three or four years in a row, you might look at it then.
Overall these priority pick should be a thing of the past now we in the era of future pick trading.
You cannot have clubs gamble their future away and then get given a pick a few years later after trading future picks away.

If they don't win a game this season, you would have to assume that the AFL will give them something (even access/free hit to a state league player etc)
The Brad Crouch compensation pick will be intriguing.

Who knows what the AFL and Gil will do through, they seem to make up things as they go along..

They wont get band 1 in an already weakened draft when theyve got a few in the top 20 already. Not for one shit year. Theyre better off trading their band 2 into a 1st round 2021 pick.

Time to update the votes. Need a new vote on how many games Adelaide win this year.

I am tipping 1 win (just hope it is not us)....

They have us, Collingwood, Geelong, GWS, WB, Hawthorn and Richmond left to play.

I have a stinky feeling that 1 win could be us. Most likely the week after we knock off Brisbane or GWS, knowing how inconsistent we are.

Carlton haven’t played a game of football in years that we would have gone in as heavier favourites than the upcoming against against Adelaide and the bookmakers will reflect that. None of our supporters should think that we could lose to them. They’re 0-11 for a very good reason and looking at their remaining schedule posted above, they should quite simply finish the season 0-17.

It would be the most modern Carlton day thing ever if we lost to The Crows. Remember we were only one of 2 two teams that lost to the Essendon top ups in 2016, the year 30 plus of their list copped the WADA ban.

I am dreading that game, quite frankly

I'm not, Martin, Mckay, Big Levi, Betts, Little Red Corvette, Cunningham

Usual midfield

Solid back-line

Best of luck stopping that, you're right though shouldn't go in with smug arrogance. Should of beaten the geriatric Hawks but they smashed us after we got complacent.

If there was ever a game you'd be pretty confident of this season, this'd be it.

Not to mention list is like 1000x better than 2016, no more cloggers thanks.

Only danger sign would be if we get crippled by injuries and have to rely on one tall and just long bomb it in all day and hope for the best.

Honestly didn't think I could see a worse team in the comp than us in the final season and a half of Malthouse's tenure here, but these Crows are dying Fitzroy levels bad.

Unpopular opinion here but if they don't win a game this year, they probably need a Priority Pick.

Not so much fun laughing at their plight tbh. I just bad for the players and (SOME OF) their fans.
No chance of a PP. They shot themselves and have a couple of early picks coming. Natural decline after a peak, exacerbated by futile management.

They will get nothing and bloody well like it.

I have changed my mind about the Crows getting a PP. Reading their board quite a bit, such arrogant entitlement, not only in getting a PP but band 1 compo for Brad Crouch who is a good player but not star.

Someone even suggested they needed/deserved a Gold Coast style rescue package.

Stuff that. The only thing the AFL should do is remove their board and Riccuito, other than that, let them try their own luck on their own rebuilding.

Maybe giving their members a vote on the board would be a good start too. You know like the other clubs in the AFL

Some legal mumbo jumbo involving the SANFL and governance prevents that from happening I believe.

Prosciutto can stay.

Why did you think they should get one in the first place?

I agree that they shouldn't be a thing; we can quite clearly see the incentive to tank and tank hard when you can to get a PP whilst simultaneously getting pick 1. It's assisted Geelong, it assisted Hawthorn, it assisted Richmond; about the only side that hasn't played a GF of late without receiving one is Sydney or WC, and they've reasons of their own. If we weren't going to get one last year - regardless of how obvious or not our improvement would be - why they **** should a team that played in a GF two seasons ago even be remotely close to getting one?
