Just think he is one of those players that doesn't do enough brave game changing jelwood type plays often enough when he is capable....a bit soft maybe? Granted he did do a fantastic run back with the flight spoil in a pack a couple a weeks back but he hangs back and waits for it all to happen too often IMO as do others.Que?
Not sure if trolling. Rosa has potentially been our best midfielder this season although that doesn't say much, but either way, he isn't going to get better at playing harder footy by sitting in the grandstand for the rest of the season, I guess on the positive side it at least gives a chance for younger Eagles to debut.

Agree but he's no game winning star material and never will be. A fringe dweller that just does his job and that doesn't win premierships that's all I'm trying to say. Hitting packs hard and demanding the ball and verbally lifting and expecting more of yourself and of your team mates wins premierships(Steve j ,Goddard, n riewoldt, Glass, Hurn, Kerr, Hodge etc)and he ain't got that when he should he's been there long enough. But yes he certainty isn't the only one just annoys me because he has the potential but isn't stepping up.

Ok, alright, I agree, he's not an "elite" and he isn't going to be in our next premiership but all I'm saying is I would much prefer have a Rosa playing over someone like Gaff who I find (or any under performing mids), has been one of our worst midfielders who really hasn't done much this season (ok, yes there are some exceptions), but really, with our list we just want to field a strong, young team with a few older role models to improve talent and skills of our up and comers.
Gaff is unfortunate because his skills are so far superior the rest of the team he cops the tag and lacks the size, power and athletic ability to shake it nor does he have the luxury of dodging the tag due to like talented team mates sharing it as you see in for eg geelong -sj/jelwood/bartel share the hard tag. I think he deserves his spot for his deadly skills alone eagles just can't take advantage of him due to lack of depth.
I'd like to see far more on field verbal directing (goddard like) from every single player as this promotes personal effort, accountability and pride which helps build team unity and confidence which the team is clearly lacking.
