How many flags would the Saints have won if GT wasn’t their coach?

Thomas is in a pretty awkward situation. Wins a flag and everyone will give credit to the list, and not him. If he loses, has a bad run with injuries etc. he can't coach... weird....
The fact he has managed to keep together so many players on his list who could have gone for double their salary elsewhere surely speaks highly of him. Kosi, Dal Santo etc would have made a packet at other clubs. Surely he gets credit for keeping this group together.
Sydney were deserving winners of the flag, but it is a fact that kosi and hamill weren't playing in the important games... surely that was a major part in them falling short of a premiership... not grant thomas.
He seems to most well spoken out of the coaches I've heard, doesn't bag anyone else and doesn't make excuses. Yet everyone here bags him. Don't really understand some people's thought process. Kinda just follow everyone else's opinion like sheep rather than forming their own.

GT is not a winner. Sure he's coached in minor unprofessional leagues and done ok but this is AFL football and you need a hard ass (but fair) to get the job done.
I for one am not looking forward to the coaching moves on match day nor the selection panel and their decisions on who should play or not as well. I find both equally frusturating as a supporter and highly unprofessional.
Not many intelligent people around these days, prehaps 1 out of 10 people and then i believe you need the wisdom to go with it and that's an even rarer commodity.
Kevin Sheedy for example oozes both and GT ... We all know unfortunately what stage he's at mentally.
at least parrot doesn't hide behind the facade of being a saints supporter, come out in the open, get out of the closet, everyone knows you are a bummer supporter.
None. Though I think if they don't win it next year they will be in trouble.
