In answer to your question: very few if any, are you surprised at this? You would think with all her 'contact's she would be a valuable source of trade info for us all. Oh and i am counting down to the time suzi posts something about this thread being reported to bluey...
Not only that, Toia is crap. Did get an unfortunate neck injury in which i felt for him, but it doesn't hide from the fact that he cannot play.

Happy for him to be more talented than me, however I played cricket as my profession, not football. So, in other words at football, Luke would kill me, but I would whip his ass at cricket. Hence, my talents lie elsewhere.
Sad about the broken neck, but was a hack before the neck was broken. Once a hack, always a hack.
Repeat: Toia is a dud and a hack and will never play AFL again.

He was a hack before his injury in which i said and will repeat i felt for him, BUT it doesn't disguise the fact that he is crap before and is still crap. Like Goldenblue says, run off crying to Luke over what people have said and tell bluey. I am shaking at the boots of an angry Luke Toia, not! People will always post on bigfooty so and so is crap, so and so is a hack, so and so shouldn't be in the side etc, so put up with it. Yes it does happen to my team and yes i take it with a grain of salt.

So I take you used to watch Freo games during '96 and '97 when he was one of our more consistant players at 18/19 years of age? I didn't think so. He may well be a hack now, but he wasn't back then.

Word has it that Mick Malthouse has invited Luke Toia down to Collingwood to take part in the pre-season training, with no guarantees of drafting him. Which is what we, and most other clubs, have done in the past with de-listed players looking to continue.
I would suggest that MM does not rate Toia as a hack and that he would know more about spotting football talent than most people here on the board. Collingwood has a great record for recycling these sorts of players eg Clement.
Mind you I have no memories of him, other than a vague recollection that he took a big grab oneday that was a contender for mark of the week on the sunday footy shows. Is that right or am I thinking of someone else???
Time will tell.

I take it back. He was handy then, but not any star in the making. 96 and 97 were dark days and the list did not have the talent it has now. Toia stood out a touch then, but his value is worth zilch now.
