Are you not aware that Hawkins missed the prelim against Richmond last year because of suspension?
How much does it take Hawkins or Danger to get suspended?
I think they would have to murder someone in front of the umpire
A few here need to watch some netball to harden up, and progress to basketball, then watch some AFLW, then perhaps then watch a contact sport called Aussie Rules that men play...
Can see it's mainly Port and Cats kb warriors... surprise, surprise...
Lynch just plain stupidity, as much force as a butterfly landing on you, opposition player didn't even flinch or realise...
Cotchin's tackle was a high tackle that was punished on the ground. There are many wrong hard tackles in a game, they get officiated. No arms were pinned to render opposing player unable to protect himself, ie free or 50 metres at worst. The field umpires didn't feel it was anything more...
Stop hating and stop sensationalising that is the medias job, called clickbait

Port fans are hypocrites if they believe that Lynch deserves to be suspended for a tap to the shoulder with the knee, but have no issue with Dixon doing this.
******* hell, I've seen intentionally dangerous moves in wrestling not look like they're trying to hurt someone that badly.
ssshhhh you'll bust his bubble that Hawkins is untouchable. Are you not aware that Hawkins missed the prelim against Richmond last year because of suspension?
Anthony Rocca disagrees with this. Jason Cloke also (yes, not a big name)Perhaps being a little cynical, but my guess is that Cotchin (and Lynch) will both play next week. Past experience shows that big name players do not get suspended during finals.
Or are Richmond fans dishing what opposition supporters dished out to them during their own periods of success?Tigers fans and their hypocrisy shining through once again.
Crying it’s only coz we are good that you want blood, I can’t believe the level of hatred “wah wah wah”
Yet they have been dishing out the same level of tall poppy syndrome for the whole 13 years I’ve been on Big Footy.
You reap what you sow.
Most sooky fans in the league it seems, just needed the shoe to be on the other foot to realise this.
I know that this is the Cotchin thread, but the poster was talking about Lynch’s incident with Howard and not Cotchin’s incident. Dixon’s was indeed a very similar incident to Lynch’s.You really are dumb as fu** if you think those two incidents are remotely comparable. Show me where Stratton could have had his neck broken.
I want to see another angle. Did it slip off the shoulder because the Saints player raised the arm to try to shrug the tackle? No injury and played out the game has to work in Cotchin’s favour.

You're right that they aren't comparable, Dixon dropped his 105kg weight straight on to Strattons head whereas Lynch barely made contact with Howard who didn't even flinch.

Was a great hit. Love to see blood spill in a final. Next time the little bloke will know his place and get out of big bad bustling Tommy Lynch’s wayLynch had no eyes for the ball and took out Paton with an elbow to the back of the head and split it open
Could have kept his arms up to mark or spoil but he dropped his left arm, bent it and took out the back of Patons head instead with the point of his elbow
No intention to play the ball every intention to take Paton out
