oh and it is the afls responsibility to give premierships out isnt it that is all I was alluding to that the afl has given sydney their premiership because they WON the game I am not taking that away from them.

Just saying now they have the premiership the tribunal will be called into play

If that's truly the inference you were making, fair enough. I'm sure you realise how easily it can be read as an excuse.

BTW - I guarantee the tribunal will have the week off.

yes I understand but I can assure you that it was no excuse

Many things can be taken out of context on the internet

We're not going back THERE again are we? Move on like the rest of the country (well except for some bitter Saints fans, who are still claiming the Cup as theirs).

When's it Richmond's turn to be given a premiership, surely we have waited long enough. If this is the case and the AFL give out the premiership I might just save 26 weeks of my life from the couch, and ask them who is going to win at the start of the year. Is next year the year of the tiger?

well with Brown back I predict a top 4 finish for the tigers then richo gets off at the tribunal plays in the GF and finnaly the drought is broken but I guess Richmond isnt in NSW

You have chosen to take your club's coaches name as your user name. Fair enough - but having done that, you have a responsibility to live up to that name. That means no weak copout conspiracy theories.

It should be enough for you that your team fought like fury and would have deserved the flag if things had been different. You insult them, not the Swans, with your excuses.

Why get sensitive about that, Charlie? So the accusation can come from anyone else and it is valid and not a "conspiracy theory" but coming from a west coast supporter it means the exact opposite.

All we want is some consistency, for a change. :)

Actually, there is a Richmond in NSW. It is north-west of Sydney and a RAAF base is there.

And for your sake, I hope you get over this conspiracy/gifted premiership/rigged tribunal phase soon. ;)

I am over it as long as we win a premiership in the next 72 years before I die

So all we need to do is trick the AFL into believing that the Richmond in question is indeed in NSW and Richmond Tigers in the AFL will win the premiership next year. :D

I think everyone wants consistency from the match review/tribunal process.

The problem is that, by the time of the Hall hearing, either outcome (Hall suspended or Hall playing) could have been viewed as inconsistent in relation to previous decisions in 2005.

The irony of course was that, they were consistent with Hall and Gaspar - in that both were viewed in a lot of circles as being lucky not to be suspended.

Hall and Gaspar were totally different acts of misconduct and should not be lumped together. The only consistency the afl displayed in the two cases was their inconsistency.

He was probably told to do something stupid so they could give him the 1-2 weeks he escaped for the GF. Seriously - it wasn;t that bad.

We are reporting guys for high tackles now ? Seriously, I have seen some weird stuff on BF, but that honestly takes the cake. A report AND suspension for a high tackle. Unbelievable.

Can someone ban this guy from Big Footy for sheer stupidity ? Or would that set a dangerous precedent ?

If Quarterbrain hadn't soiled himself yelling over this incident nobody would have noticed it. Last time I checked an open hand tackle above the shoulder is simply a free kick and nothing more.

Once again Barry 'Im not that bad' Hall will more than likely have a date with the tribunal after that WWE clothesline he laid on David Wirrupunda yesterday. Im just curious...how many weeks will he miss? how many weeks should he miss? will the prelim tummy tap count against him as a 'past offence'?
Im not sucking on sour grapes, good on Sydney for the win, but seriously Barry Hall must go up again for that, it was like something from the Sensational Seventies DVD.

I was happy for the Swans or WC to win the flag, but you are bleeding like a stuck pick and i love it,i love when a dog troll like you cry's and show's he has no pride at all.

suffer you dog suffer :D i love it when dogs like you get whats coming.
