After watching netflix/stan/kayo all year on a 4k tv with 1080p-> 4k upscaling engine, i find i cant watch the charlie on anything but fta

I turn it on and its a serious shock to the system

The first time i really started to hate them was the sopranos - they stopped mid season because of the tennis - and then it didnt return for a year.

They always played it after the footy show which meant it wouldnt start till half past daft anyway.

- i ended up watching the rest of the sopranos on dvd - once you start watching without ads its becomes hard to go back

Fast forward a few years and i live in one of the first towns on nbn - started watching netflix us via - that was the end of fta except the footy and cricket.

No way i was paying that much for fox when all i wanted was sport....

In the country footy is broadcast in sd but

Then came kayo....


Just wish kayo could simulcast the gf at the same time as 7 - its hard to go back to sd

Backroads, SBS World movies, Viceland good programming, Great railway journeys,4 Corners, Landline, and loads more, so ABC and SBS still well worth a watch.

SBS Chill chanel 39 great music, ABC radio, lots of good stuff still.

I cannot think of one commercial programme worth watching or listening to.

I caught the end of the masked singer or whatever it's called, lindsay lohan is a panel judge and she has no idea who the australian "celebs" are under the gimpy costumes, it was actually kinda funny seeing her having no clue as to what is going on but also the realisation of how far down the toilet her career has sank, this is the absolute scraping the bottom of the barrel stuff right here.
