hows everyone feeling before the game tonight

for me, try as i might, i cant get anywhere near as excited as i was last week, which is obviously no surprise, but you would think that any finals game would get you amped up and ready to go, but yeah im not, may be as we get a bit closer tho.
Im desperate to win, but that seems to be mainly due to save the embarassment of a straight sets elimination

anyone else feel the same?

The day's just drifting along. Haven't thought about the game in as much depth as last week.

Hopefully there's something to get excited about at the end of the match.

Unlike last week, I have no expectations.

I think they are gone but just want them to show some fight basically.

I'm the same. Not overly enthused, just want them to have a crack, win or lose. If we are not good enough on the day we are not good enough but just have a crack, that's all I want to see.

I'm feeling confident from what I've been reading about the match. I'm tipping the Bulldogs, though I won't be able to be on the 774 ABC Melbourne radio show today to do it live.

I'm feeling very excited, one game away from a prelim, 1 week closer to a premiership.

While everyone has written us off, realistically if we wanted to win the premiership we'd have to beat the cats, that scenario hasn't changed. Beat Sydney and we'll be 1 game away from a GF.

Come on Doggies!!

Yes, I'm like you maybe because of the weight of the game, if we won last week we almost play in GF but today's game even if we win there will be another game to play GF. I'm sure I'll be very excited next week if we win today anyway.

Still gutted over last weeks game. Currently listening to SEN , Bazza White in the background and hope we have a bit more life tonite than a singer of love tunes
If we have a full team of contributors there is NO doubt we can defeat Swannies. Seriously hoping we can defeat swannies as I will be back in OZ nxt wk for 10 Days incl GF.

Go DOGGIES !!!!!!!!!!!!

CMON PEOPLE GET EXCITED, I AM
This week theres no safety net, its do or die
The boys will give their all tonight and I will take nothing less than a win
Anything else and our season means nothing, they know that I know that we all know that....
I dont wanna hear people sayin oh as long as they give it a crack...bullshit!!! no wonder weve been mediocre for 50 odd yrs

Lets get behind em tonight, go Dogs!!!

Im feeling ok about tonight, but if i see johno, walshy, murph, and acca in the back line i will spew. If we can get over tonight i will look forward to next week as we have nothing to lose, and the cats are beatable:eek:. Imo minson is the key when he goes forward, he will take the pressure of our small forwards. so CMON dogs.

I am struggling to get pumped up about this game as well.
Still I will be watching it on the TV later on.
Maybe I will be pumped by then

For some reason - and it's not the Glenfiddich - I'm feeling much better than I was five hours ago.

Life with the Dogs.

Know what you mean.

Had an ordinary bottle of pinot with the Pig pre-game with some great home made pizzas, then drank red label Coopers during the game, punctuated by calls by an old Saints mate during the game who was more pissed than me.

Still not sure about what I saw, so I'm rolling a big reefer to establish reality.

I thought we were shot to bits before this game, but that was one of the best Dogies wins I've seen.

Tonight, I'm bloody proud of my team.

CMON DOGGIES !!!

im going tonight...and have a nice lil bet on the boys tonight......Doggies will win...because i havent been to a game this year where the team ive been going for has lost......

Cmon Doggies +1 <3

Woof woof woof..... :thumbsu:

YAY im awesome....Told ya you would win..... Thanks for the $172 bucks Doggies....:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Got a bit emotional early on when I saw the writing on the wall, just a few efforts set the tone and I realised that in a Do or Die game, we were going to live for another week. We're one win away from a GF appearance, not a huge chance, but a chance anyway.

That result last night saved the season for me. At least I can walk away and think "Geez, we had a good year. Shame we just lacked a little bit extra." rather than, "We never gave ourselves a chance at the pointy end."

Anything can happen in a Prelim, we all know that lesson too well. Geelong are a huge task, but if you're there, you're a chance.
