After 11 games, if we are 8-3 my lid will be off and gone like a fart in the wind.

lid is still on until we start playing consistent footy. We were crap in rd1 and crap against collingwood. Have good winds over GC, lions and a massive showing against the cats that lid will turn into a Frisbee.

Thought the thread was a bit of Richmond baiting and trolling re. the fitness of their only A-grader other than Cotchin. BTW Lids has been selected this week, so the Cats will need two taggers to completely shutdown the Tiges.

As to my lid, I replaced it with the screw top a few years ago, but been screwing it on and off so often with our roller coaster team, the threads have worn away and have reverted to the old cork. But, I am happy to say, it is ready to pop, pressure is building, and if things go to plan, it will blast over Corio Bay in 3 weeks from tomorrow. Then again I may end up reverting to a bit of glad wrap with a lacka band.
