Yep,Jindera for the firsts. The were clearly better than Culcairn & I reckon will beat Osbourne by almost the same margin again.

Graeme Fruean from Culcairn takes the Azzi...& he's originally from Howlong...under 10's I think...so i'll claim that as a Howlong victory.:)

Early picks for next week

1sts Jindera

2nds Osborne

3rds Holbrook

4ths Holbrook

1sts OSBORNE - WEEK OFF FOR THE OLD BLOKES SHOULD HELP.

2nds Osborne - ONE WAY TRAFFIC.

3rds MAGPIES - COULD BRING BACK THE BIFF. AKA EAST LAVY.

4ths Holbrook
- FROM PAST SCORES YOU WOULD HAVE TO SAY YES.

yeah fair call the 1sts and 3rds should be the games of the day although 2nds has potential.. good luck to everyone playing on saturday

bad luck to james kilmartin from jindera in doing his knee last week, the poor fella has had a terrible run of outs with injuries in the last couple of years, with his hand injury at work and now this, head up james and hopefully your doggies can get up on saturday, which i think they will....

That is real bad luck for the bloke. But this crazy, isn't there a GF this weekend??

Is there any late changes, rumours of in's and out's, predictions, who will play on Mackie as he as been in rare touch Im told. Give us out of towners a bit to hang on to to feel apart of it.

I predict Jindera to win in a great game, and if the officials have enough courage to give it to the losing team Adam Gooden (the one with the reddish hair) to be BOG - he can play that bloke.......

Hope it's a good day for the action.

i would also be predicting a jindera victory their form in the last month has been terrific as has osbornes, i just think jindera may have too much firepower up front for the cats with hilton in superb form, castles, bryce scott and garland to name a few, with their midfeilders being well led by mackie and the underated kade duel i think the doggies will get up narrowly, should be a great contest

Sorry forgot about the early game's - BOG -
BOG - Mackie (but gooden as a prospecter??....yep I'm cheating)
2nd'S - T.Welington - Jindera (good kid, unlucky to missed seniors)
3rd's - S.Taylor - should be playin seniors for holbrook and will play accordingly).

yeah terrific win by the dogs, just proves how hard it is playing catch up footy. great effort by osborne to get back into the game after the start the dogs had. but without doubt the best team won, big ben dominated but he was not alone, congrats to the jindera fellas, enjoy it boys...:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Yeah good on the bulldogs.. it also proves whoever spends the most money will win the flag.. but good too see osborne lose again..

I managed to listen to the game on OAKFM in the US. Was a great call and great game. Also a amazing gate for a non-major league $31k+ and still counting. The coverage cut out on me whilst the summary of the game was being discussed. Anyone else notice that ?

3 out a 4 ain't bad.
Told ya the 2's would be one sided.

Well done to Jindera, Played 3 quarters of footy very well.

What did everyone think of Weidemann's (Osborne seniors) game?

from what I seen he had 1 Mark, handball, kick & goal.
& the goal he got was from a handball from Hart into an open goal.
I know stat's aren't every thing, but also his attack on the ball off the forward flank left I lot to be desired. He had about 4 chances to pick it up & give off the hands, but couldn't pick it up & seem to be dodging body contact.

Just a bad game or is his time up?

Me thinks that Osborne may need to look at more youth.

Yes fair call that and they do have some quality young players coming through

Marty Bahr - solid this year and the experience will do him world of good
Djali Bloomfield - Played full season of 1sts but could still play under 17s next year.. made all australian for under 15s last year.. star of the future but not sure if his future will be at osborne
Simon Lane - A big solid young man who is the future CHB for osborne
Tom Oconnel - Grandson of GT and played a few games of 1sts this year while he is only 16 and would have played more except for having under 16 state duties
Steve Jolliffe - 16 year old collingullie junior who would have made 1st grade debut this year except for an injured ankle
Andrew Madden - Another 16 year old. Can play forward or back and will be given a few chances at 1st grade next year i would think

So as much as I would hate to say it, the future looks bright out at osborne

Fair enough, guess we will just have to wait & see.

Seeing you have good knowledge of the younger players coming through,
what's the take on Billabong Crows U/14 kid (Hayden Dalitz)
that won the league medal with a maximum 54 votes!
That's a huge effort. BOG in every game.
Is he a rover, ruck? big, quick or what?

Dont know the kid and have never seen him play must be a gun though. That would have to be a record to get 3 votes in every game. Future looks bright out at holbrook aswell with both junior teams making the grand final

Hot off the press - to me anyway. Dean Terlich (ex Bushranger / Osborne) dumped from the Swans rooke list, after only 1 year, but has had some intrest from the Crows & Doggies, appranently. Can anyone confirm?

played against him in cricket last year and is failry sizey for fourteen, wouldnt have picked his age from looking at him, also heard from a crows supporter rumour is he got offered a sholarship to geelong grammar which says a bit for his footballing ability

The kid goes okay. Has just matured a bit earlier than others. A bit bigger and more aggressive than the others at this stage. Skills etc nothing fancy. A lot of kids who dominate at that age get caught and sometimes overtaken by the time they are 16. Hope the boy proves me wrong.

Just thinking - if Brett Wightman has signed on as assistant coach at Jindera which seems to have happened, can I ask what is Bomber Hilton doing?? Wasn't he the assistant coach at Jindera this year?? Big loss if he is on the move or not playing considering Mackie will head back to o and m too.

If Mackie does go back to The O & M does he need to be cleared again from Nth Albury?
If this is the case could be a very interesting decision for Joel to make!!!

Don't know the logistics but jindera need to keep camp.... players whom will be back in o and m - so will be =

-J mackie
_b. Hiilton
-holman
-t castles

All going back to o and m..... and should.

Anyone have some idea of where they heading? surely not back to old o&m clubs?

last i heard was that bomber was maybe moving to melbourne, mackie has obviously been linked to raiders and albury, holman has has brothers at lavy so i would expect them ih he was to return. as with castles not to sure perhaps raiders with lambert?
