Agree with the dribble and bullshit talk but don't think a club like MM can afford to be all that fussy with their coaches. They aren't exactly a club that people are wanting to join in a hurry.

Case in point in that “he genuinely believed they were a chance of getting Cumberland”. The bloke was shopping himself around on the new recruiting app. Probably gets a little kick from visiting the clubs that reached out. He is kidding if he thinks he is out of an AFL program to play under him for MM. As for the “we hope he will play on his bye weekends”. As if that helps your club, the mercenaries that do that go to who pays them the most money.

Not looking good for them at all. Not sure where to from here for them.

Yes, he has coached for the past 2-3 seasons I think, if not longer. It's hard to blame him for jumping ship to be honest, would take some crazy levels of loyalty to stick it out there when you are getting offered to go and play at an immediate premiership contender 5 mins from home.

Lions, Saints and Magpies will all struggle again. Giants look like being the team to drop down a heap this year. Have lost a few from their best team and haven't picked up any.
