haha, that would be awesome imo. trade a guy that hasnt played in 2 years, is injury prone and wants to leave. and gain a decent mature forward and a nuggety little HBF

How could Brisbane afford JWS now I know everyone else is going up there what is everyone's opinion on Mcdonald and maybe go after Bradshaw what does everyone think?

Macca AND a pick around 20-30? Smith might never play again... that's a pretty big risk for the Lions.

Smith can play, I don't think anyone doubts that, but the fact remains he's played 27 games in 5 seasons and has injury concerns. We wouldn't want to lose him for nothing, but we have to be a bit realistic in what we'll get. If McDonald can actually get on the park, he's already an improvement on what Smith has given us over the last few years. We won't get Bradshaw.

Not sure if you've been in Guatemala mate but the Jesse Smith we are dealing with today is not the one we had running off the HBF in 2007.

No football + degenerative condition + related chronic soft tissue injuries = no currency.

I'll be very surprised if he gets picked up.
