if the bombers get outed by the crows next week, go straight to TAB and wack a 50 on him for next years rising start, he will go into the 2010 season on 10 games and being 19.

He'll be better than Hird

Absolutely massive call, if this happens then the only players who will come close to him in the next 10-20 years will be Thomas, Alexander and William! :p

Hurley impresses more and more with every game. A big well built unit, booming accurate kick, great strong contested mark and fantastic reader of the play, but what impresses me the most is the composure he shows for his age and experience.

Yesterday against the Hawks when he marked it right on the line he was quickly aware of where the surrounding opponents were, saw the chance to make the goal easy for himself and took the option without thinking twice. Might seem like a small thing to point out, but it's great judgement on things like that which make him look like the whole package.

Extremely pleased with the work of the selectors and will enjoy watching him putting his stamp on the game for many years to come! :thumbsu:

He's got that champion look about him. Bloody exciting him watching him going about it yesterday. Doesn't look raw like a young KPP should, at all.

Loved the Lucas tribute with the left foot from 50!

Hurley = David Neitz.

That's actually really funny, last night I put on the 2000 grand final just to look at the similarities that I noticed in the game yesterday.

I am really beginning to wonder how much we would have to trade for Brian Lake so that we can let Hurley loose on the forward line? McPhee and our first two picks in next years draft?
