yea because it's there fault that they are holding some back that doesnt deserve a game. if they are playing good football then why drop them for someone else that is playing for coburg?

ummmm they are emergancies dude. happy with all the selections. Hopefully some one has taught shane edwards to kick since now and the start of the year. Love the way he takes it on just wish he could hit a target.

This is what i thought of Edwards great in the contest but doesn't kick the ball properly. However, watching the Coburg game a few weeks back his kicking was more than reliable. They even trusted him enough to kick the ball out. Hopefully Rawlings can better develop and use the kids in their best position.

Good for Rawlings...realised from day one that veteran coach killers like Bowden deserve no sentimentality.

Any positive you can put down for Bowden is completely overwhelmed by his massive bag of negatives.

His cameo's last year against Port and Brisbane were completely negated by him going a long way to losing games for us against the exact same clubs this year.

His customary stack of possessions becomes a massive negative when he does nothing with the ball but slow us down.

Not once in his entire career has he ever been mentioned in the bunch of players who have worked hard over the pre-season. Not once in his entire career has he ever been genuinely AFL fit.

He failed as a midfielder because he didn't work hard enough, he failed as a defender because he didn't work hard enough and refused to play direct football.

Amongst 264 games of cruising and failing he had maybe 30 good enough games as a key defender, and maybe 15 games as a good enough midfielder.

For that rubbish return, he is worshipped by clueless fans who don't even know what the word substance means, but are far too easily duped by utterly meaningless style.

Unsurprisingly, a lot of these people were in nappies when Bowden started out and had the potential to be a superstar, but blew it every step of the way and couldn't blame injuries.

All he deserves is to be farewelled by a stadium full of every Richmond member holding up a banner demanding 3/4 of the money he sucked out of them back.

cant agree more...bowden and tievindale use to drive me nuts...just ordinary suburban players with pretensions of being afl legends...especially bowden cruising around the back line racking up possessions when we were losing and piss farting around with the ball when we were winning...of course he has talent...talent for the unusual clanger...goodbye and good riddance...lets see what the younger players can produce given a chance...:d

Kingy reinvented as a defensive small forward. Tackle, tackle and when he gets it, bang, only shoot for goal. I don’t understand everyone’s hatred for him. He has deficiencies, but he has something we lack. Mongrel. I hope he gets a chance and proves people wrong.
