I would like to see us trade Boyle.

If we want to use a forward structure incorporating 3 talls or if one of Buddy/Roughie is unavailable then Boyle is very much needed. We simply do not have anyone else. Posters may say Thorp or Dowler but I simply do not see any signs that they are ready yet.

I am suggesting it because I would actually like to see him get more AFL game time and be a good target up forward (for anyone).


I don't think we need him there at the moment and would hate to see him as a VFL player forever.

I've watched Thorp play for Box Hill the last 2 weeks and he looks a cut above. He has not kicked many goals because he has been playing further down the ground but he will be ready for AFL footy very shortly.

Boyle Kicked 5 goals for Box Hill and looked hungry and desperate.


I am really stoked about that, as I really like Boyle....I always thought he was a great lead, mark and a dead eye dick kick......

BUT,

We have the twin towers....and lets face it....what more do we need???



I feel Boyle could be the number 1 target up forward at some AFL Clubs (Melbourne? Richmond? Collingwood? (yes he is better than cloke and rocca =D) and I would like to see him get that chance. I don't want to trade him because I want to get rid of him....I want to trade him so he gets his shot at the big time.

What do you guys think???




Perhaps we can trade him for melbournes 2nd round pick???? It will be pick 17 or 18 afterall.....

Firstly, this will never happen.
Melbourne will not trade ay picks, Bailey wants to build his own premiership side from scratch.

Warnock is linked to Melbourne due to his brother playing for us.. and getting games now which is good. Might nab him in the PSD.

We dont need or want Gilmore, we could take Boyle but not want to give up much. Plus he is 24ish so that would make it less likely.
