Yeh tried that and they have one for the ICC 2006 CD version which I downloaded but I want the ashes version.

In an amazing coincedence you should try that crack on the Ashes Edition. You may yet be surprised.

yes BUT i dont know where to download Ashes Edition retail...all i can get is the softwrap version off the official site.

Get the version off the official site, get the crack for ICC 2006, paste it over the .exe in the ICC folder. Bada bing bada boom all is well.

Get the demo version, get the .exe and put it in the folder replacing the original .exe

I tried to play online and it made me patch it and after downloading the patch it failed in to install.

this can be frustrating with the world rankings, I won the world cup in the year 2011 with Aus, was ranked sixth with two points, after I won I didn't get any extra points I think I know why, cant be bothered explaining, but still their should be a bonus of some sort.

world rankings work by series

A won series brings two points, a drawn series brings 1 and a lost series brings no points. Last home and away series against each other team counts. They then add the number games in the series together and subtract that from the number of points.

After drawing the first two ashes tests and losing the third, I went for a slightly unorthodox team selection. My 11 was

Davies (22 year old West Aus Opening batsman and occasional medium pacer)
Jaques
White
Blizzard
Symonds
Watson
Gilchrist
Ponting
Hussey
Hayden
and one other batsman who I forgot

Basically I put on full aggression and went for a smack. Made 450 in about 53 overs in the first innings (bowled out) and then bowled out england in 143 with a 40 run first innings lead. White took 5. Watson opened with Davies with White and Symonds bowling about 50 overs each.

Then went in for another full aggression tonk and made 550. Davies, after a duck in the first innings, made 170 off 120 in his Aussie debut at the MCG.

England then, on the final day, came within 30 runs of winning and got bowled out. White took 6 for. Quality game.
