Yeah Waite's knee is the first things that comes to mind. The flow on effects are way bigger than an isolated passage of play or winning against Brisbane.

We would have been top 4. We would have had a more solid defence. We would have had a better option to swing forward at times.

Other than that, Caro's see-through blouse on FC triggered a severe retinal macroaneurysm with premacular haemorrhaging in both my eyes. Which was disappointing.

As disappointing as some of the injuries have been (especially Waite), the one thing I'd change has to be our last quarter against the Lions.

Even with our injuries, we put ourselves into a winning position and blew it.

Yes I'd love to not see injuries, but ultimately it is a part of the game. We don't watch footy in the hope that our favourite/best 22 are out there every week, we watch footy to make the finals, and to win finals games.

So long as we're able to get 22 guys into the jumper come finals, then nothing will ever be more disappointing than seeing them walk off in defeat.

Was it that ****** Lonergen from essendon who turned it over late against the Lions when going across goal to allow Bradshaw in for the goal to give them a tie, extra 2 points and subsequent home final to end our season.
Also the gift 4 points they got when Geelong sent their reserves team to the Gabba, Also the gift 4 points we gave away by not having a go against Freo on the Gold Coast until it was too late and also the gift 4 points we gave away with Fev missing a soda against Hawthorn.

Seriously i think the way the season ended will galvanise us for bigger and better things in the future by providing the coaching staff with more ammo to pull a few things into line.
