Hey my fellow Carlton supporters.
If you had the change to pick one former Carlton player(at their best) to slot into our side at the moment who would it be and why?

Personally i would love to see Greg Williams because he was just an absolute gun midfielder (and can drift forward every once in a while and slot some goals on the board for us)

the full back of the century that could kick goals for me SOS

Stephen Silvagni - Just an absolute lock at FB, who could be depended upon week in week out to take the oppositions best forward. Wayne Johnston would run a very close second. Just adds that absolute accross HF, and can move into the midfield as well. Also has that bit of mongrel in him, that we unfortunately lack right now.

I am not going to pick a favourite - just someone who would make the 'premiership' diff to our current list.

Probably any of the following: Sticks, Mike Fitz, Wallsy, Crosswell, Maclure, The Earl, Diesel (don't need a mid but would make our mids just too bloody good - a suped up equiv of what Kerr might provide), Jezza, Raggsy, .....

Callum Chambers...hands down

Haha for his goals outside 50 (break the flood)??? lol

I was think more along the lines of Mark Athorn, Tim Powell etc.

In all seriousness..........KOUTA!!!!!

Could you imagine him at peak fitness, tering games apart, putting on a clinic, help us get over the line in a couple of games this year, against Tigers round 1, bummers twice and Adelaide 2 weeks ago. OH MY GOD!!! Just the thought of it.

Geez we'd be sitting just nicely in the 8. :)

a defender is needed and would realise waite up the ground, so i would say sos, southby, doormat or peter dean. peter dean from the 95 granny when he would have broken every bone in his body to win

A prime Silvagni would improve our backline substantially, a prime Kouta (from that short but magical period of off-the-scale football) would make any side better, but I reckon a prime Kernahan would make our team. The CHF, leadership and physical presence we lack. I'd have Kernahan captain of just about any side in any era. He was leadership personified.
