Chris Scott has shown immediately how much he brings to Geelong straight away, he's passionate about the cats but still level headed and sticks to his guns :thumbsu:

I was pretty interested in seeing how he would react to things in the coaches box, personally I love coaches that show some emotion. I remember Thompson getting critisized for not getting angry through his first 6 or so years of coaching, before we tasted success.

Great to see Scott's anger, bemusement, shock and happiness in tonights game.

Ahh nice to see you guys appreciate the Scott magic. North fans went through the same thing last year and fell in love. Sure you all will too. I must say I previously really hated you guys (Thompson came across so smug and arrogant) but with Scott as coach I find it pretty hard to dislike you :) Good luck for the season.

His passion for his first game was amazing, he'll have every single player playing for him and hanging off his every word.

I really liked him and Sando slapping each other and hugging after the siren, obviously after the decision was made to go with Scott these 2 have got on very well, credit to Sando as well. Good people down at catland.

Good move GFC

Well, for ten years the highlights from the coaches box were Bomber nomming a salad roll, and jumping up and down on his chair when we won in '09. I'm liking Chris Scott's style.

Loved his reaction at the end of the game, not sure if it was Milburns goal or the final siren (i just saw sports tonight) but that reation was gold for me. It showed his passion and exitement, i think we have got a good one here.

Loved the passion, hated the game plan: boring for 98 minutes of defensive slog. But capped off by a great win! Iguess I'll wait and see over the next few weeks , but hope we have an offensive attacking style as well as great defence.

Passion was good, but not sure about this idea of playing Stevie J through the midfield, IMO he is one of our best forwards and should play there!

That was the saints not having ANY players in their forward half including Riewoldt on half back for most of the game, he was just playing us to the conditions.

Love the emotion that Scott brings to the club... awesome.

So do I :thumbsu:

All of the players I've heard interviewed since Scott's arrival have spoken so highly of him-Mackie was just on SEN & said how much he admired his passion & preparation for the game last night......top stuff :thumbsu:
