except, they did get punished. You know, the heaviest penalties in the history of the game?As long as its not just one rule for Essendon. If they don't get punished for not providing medical records then no other club should either

I love this thread so much. Still going after all this time, and based on an entirely false premise. Short memories eh
er, what exactly do you think governance is, exactly, if it's not about keeping adequate records? No, the punishments were purely for Governance. Essendon actually made sure the ruling made no reference to drugs or the supplement scandal - which was actually dumb in hindsight because in theory it leaves them being open for further punishment!!!
Of course you did.hmmm, must have missed that
I can only assume you haven't made yourself familiar with the chain of evidence ASADA presented linking the purchase from china, arrival of the goods into Australia and likely arrival at the EFC. The main problem for ASADA was the inability to prove the purchase made its way into the veins of each and every EFC player named in the case. EFC knows their players were injected with something, ASADA had decent evidence that this something was very likely the banned TB4, but the AFL appointed tribunal didn't feel comfortably satisfied that they were certain enough to find the players guilty - and fair enough too, with the evidence of the actual injected substance no longer in existence, they may have felt the very strong circumstantial evidence was not enough. To say the investigation showed "heck all" is however a massive ostrich manoeuvre. Read the accounts of the proceedings, and the laughable excuses the EFC lawyers put up for why their purchase of TB4 may never have made it into their players veins. I can see why WADA might not want to wade into what is already a complete cluster ****, and EFC better hope they do not. Armstrong was done on less than what ASADA have on the EFC doping program.
Be happy you appear to have got away with it, but don't waste your time trying to convince fans of other clubs that you didn't embark on a massive systematic doping program. Nobody believes you. Non-essendon fans don't believe you, ASADA and WADA certainly don't believe you, and likely the AFL don't believe you. With WADA unlikely to go forward with an appeal, the rest of us will have to satisfy ourselves with the knowledge that the majority of AFL fans consider your club a bunch of dirty drug cheats, and it will likely be generations before he tarnish wears off.
Are you serious? They could barely prove what was brought back was even TB4.
Alavi's story torn to shreds. Talk about Ostrich. You clearly need to re-read the report.
Only an Essendon fan could look at the chain of evidence presented by ASADA and conclude their club didn't try to purchase TB4 and administer it to their players. EFC were lucky the Tribunal hearing was about the guilt of the players not the club, and that the evidence of exactly what went into the players, and when it went in, and how much went in was destroyed. Hird and others involved in administering the program should have got lifetime bans, which is what has happened to those who have overseen similar systematic doping cases in other countries.
Those penalties were no where near the hardest in the games history,` you basically lost pick 10 and copped a little fine that equate to about 10% of your legal bill over the journey.except, they did get punished. You know, the heaviest penalties in the history of the game?

Yet you're here responding to it because you obviously do.BTW ..no-one gives a shite what opposition, hate-filled, doesn't-matter-what-flimsy-evidence-is presented supporters like you think.
if that was the case ASADA or WADA would have appealedYes they should be punished, the only thing that saved them was the AFL being too scared to do the right thing and ban them all.
if that was the case ASADA or WADA would have appealed
and WADA? CAS is run by the AFL too I gather?ASADA is not going to waste their time in appealing and getting heard by the exact same tribunal process..... the AFL anti doping tribunal would just keep declaring "not comfortably satisfied". Any other court of law Essendon would be guilty.
and WADA? CAS is run by the AFL too I gather?
and if they dont?Well with any luck WADA will appeal at the last minute
and if they dont?
course not. Couldnt possibly be that the AFL tribunal got it rightThe world will spontaneously combust
If they don't then they don't care about systematic doping.
course not. Couldnt possibly be that the AFL tribunal got it right
so it wasnt the corrupt AFL? Try to stick with one storyOh please the only reason why you are "in the clear" is because you shredded all documents.
Poop is going to hit the fan when players start showing side effects from all of the injections and lawsuits happen.
"Unless a visit from the magical evidence genie is impending, it is impossible to understand how WADA will do any better,"
so it wasnt the corrupt AFL? Try to stick with one story
LOL you guys are losing it now. ASADAs case was rubbish. Huge gaps in the chain of evidence. No proof that Charter even supplied Dank for Essendons program. No proof that he even sourced TB4. Only a simpleton would believe ASADAs case.Only an Essendon fan could look at the chain of evidence presented by ASADA and conclude their club didn't try to purchase TB4 and administer it to their players. EFC were lucky the Tribunal hearing was about the guilt of the players not the club, and that the evidence of exactly what went into the players, and when it went in, and how much went in was destroyed.
