Best thing to do would be turn him into one of Brisbanes rookies as they aren't ALL in the game. (whoever makes a name for themselves first I guess)
As Brisbane now have Staker out for the season, Brown out. Theyll likely ugrade a rookie.

He could get a gig in a full custom side but I've never been the type to just do random trades. After 5 sasons in previous AFL games, you'd come up against Geelong with J.Brown at FF etc and it made me lose interest once each team was of no resembelence to the original list.

I don't mind playing sports games where the teams do trades and such but I'd like them to be realistic and no AFL game has had that in the past.

Let's be honest, rarely are there player for player trades by clubs where the clubs just want to offload the player for someone different. They almost always come from a player wanting to go home or get more oppertunity or whatever. It's not like the NBA for example. I must admit I really like that about the AFL, the continuity of players over different seasons, but that's very hard to program into a game when it would be much easier to just say "Okay, Jonothan Brown and Nick Riewoldt are rated similarly so let's just flip a coin and see if they get traded".
