MacGill bowls the 11th over

First ball: driven through cover by Taylor
2nd ball: Taylor gets a nick to the keeper and is caught behind
3rd ball: New batsman (finally) Langer drives a full toss straight down the ground for 4 more
4th ball: Sweep by Langer for a single
5th ball: Hussey plays to mid on, no run
6th ball: Hussey sweeps for a single

1/10 off his first over

3/74 after 12.3 overs with Hussey 10 and Langer 5

12 off Nicholson's first over then 4 off the first ball of Lambert's 2nd. WA scoring quickly but losing too many wickets - now Langer knocked over so it's 4/95 in the 16th - with North, Goodwin, Harvey, Casson, Clark and Wates to come

John Taylor batting at 3? What's up with that?

The John Taylor that we sacked could barely hold a bat

22.5 Nicholson to Hussey, FOUR, cover driven - great short - so sweetly
timed - almost brings tears to the eyes to see a shot like that
...... SHOT !!!!!!

The WA cricinfo commentator is by far the most entertaining. He actually colourfully describes what's going on, not just a boring bare bones description of what's happened.

John Taylor was tried at # 3 in the last match... but it didn't work (a duck I think). 34 off 20 with 7 boundarys worked today!

36.6 MacGill to Harvey, OUT: full toss lands on the batsmans foot as he is sweeping at the leg side and is adjudged out LBW

His third wicket from a crap delivery gives him figures of 5 overs 3/33

WA 7/199 with Hussey 64 and Wates the new batsman

Update

NSW 3/70 after 21

S Waugh 18*

D Thornleigh 16*

D Wates 2/23 from 10

Waugh starting to fire up.....trying to keep wickets in hand for a dash at the end it seems.

not a chance, we've been waiting 20 years for him to 'mature' and he's an 'elegant' batsman who makes some the most 'dashing centuries' once every two years.

he needs a good century against the mozambique under 11 blind cripples and he's good for another year of ducks and crapola batting.
