Minor signalling....then effing play him!

We NEED him in this game, it's a risk that must be taken if it's only minor.

Burgo’s hamstring grading!

Grade 3: A severe injury involving a tear to half or all of the hamstring muscle.

Grade 2: Your walking pattern will be affected and you will most likely be limping.

Grade 1: You may have tightness in back of the thigh but will be able to walk normally.

Signally: Oh that doesn’t feel quite right.

Knowledge: I pretty sure I have a hamstring. I just poked it with my finger and felt something.

Numb: Man, I've been sitting in this position for way too long.

I have left out some of the more server grading as I don’t think they are relevant here. For example:

Grade 10: Ninja cut my leg off.

This is not when the injury occurred.

About a 30 seconds to a minute prior to this kick, I saw Polec on the boundary grab his hammy and then start waving to the interchange.

It looked like he was making his way off the ground but he decided to get involved in this play.

Yeah, noticed that too. Didn't watch the game live and saw everyone saying Polec had an injury. Was watching for it, and saw that happen on the outer side pocket. When he got involved in the next play in the middle I was surprised and can understand why Burgess thought it was minor.

DESPITE scans showing only "minor signalling", Jared Polec appears unlikely to face Collingwood on Saturday.

However, the running midfielder will shape for a return to footy against Richmond in Round 15, according to the Power's head of high performance Darren Burgess.

"The scans showed minor signalling - very minor - but we think he'll be a long shot to play against Collingwood," Burgess said.

Where does this sound familiar.......

“Chad pulled up from training with some tightness, and we sent him for a precautionary scan,” Burgess told portadelaidefc.com.au.

“There was some low-level signalling there, so in line with our no-risk approach we’ll keep him out of this week and probably the week after that.”

'Minor signalling'. Is this the new tightness?

you clearly have no idea
You clearly didn't read the article.

And yes you do risk 'not even tightness' in a hamstring to win premiership points.

He wasn't waving he was signalling to the interchange hence Burgo's diagnosis.
