Pagan has some interest to be honest. I see some definite upside in him controlling the side for the rest of the year. I know all the arguments about the game passing him by, etc, etc, but Pagan certainly has some strengths. Working with youth is one of them, which he did for many years for our own U19's. I assume we are not seriously looking at giving one of our existing assistants the permanent job so they should really have no head start on the temporary one. This leaves very few options. I think he would relish the opportunity, as he would view it as a backdoor to trying to get a senior gig again. I think we could rely on him to give honest appraisals of our players. I think we could rely on him full stop.

At the end of the year, yes. He's been there a while and I haven't seen a great cohesive structure in the forward line. I'm not convinced, there's no spacing or isolation, its been going on too long up there.

Leon Cameron currently the bulldogs assistant coach has publicly said he wants a senior role somewhere. Maybe worth considering. Given he has no experience as a senior coach and dosent have the profile of a Buckley, he could come cheap.

Agree wit this but would prefer someone from outside the club as if we gave an assistant the gig they would be unlikely to change what Laidley has being doing as they have already been influenced. It would be better to get a new view.
