Death, taxes, and my annual opportunity to show I’ve learned nothing by betting on the draw as there’s plenty of rain on the forecast for Brisbane.

On the draw @ 5.8 and half as much on India @ 3.51

Cashed out after play for a 79.5% ROI. Now I can get back to supporting the Aussies.

Womens Super Smash Auckland v Canterbury for whatever Lads could allow me.

Pandey top scored in her last game for Canterbury and as an international import is levels above her teammates with the bat. She scored 63 in her last game and was the catalyst for Canterbury for the recovery from 5/30 to posting a half decent score of 137.

And Aucklands batting doesnt feel with me too much confidence , so Ive decided to sprinkle on the Penfold sisters.

What's the thought process for this one? No rain on the forecast.
Pretty much the way I saw it there is rain day 5 and it was going to be a 4 day test.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think a very green pitch was going to be created. This was also confirmed by Ben Dwarshuis who plays there regularly in all forms at yesterday's big bash interview.

Got on early at $6.50 it did come into under $4 the night before. In hindsight if I was awake and saw the pitch (three hours behind) and slept in I would have Cashed out.

Didn't know the pitch and got it wrong.

Fair enough. I jumped on the draw mid way through day 3 for the Melbourne Test @ $2.20 then cashed out the following day at a very slight loss when the Aussies started to crumble.

The draw got into $1.20 on day 5 before the Aussies ended up winning.
