The problem for the US is that no matter what Trump does, nothing will turn his followers off him. Zero. Nothing.

Is there are reason to vote against Biden at the moment?

Economy is performing well, interest rates are going down, inflation is going down, unemployment is as low as its ever been. Why would the American voters risk that against an loose cannon?

If anything, this border control nonsense will actually stifle the economy due to under-employment.

It is a sad reflection on US politics when the best they can do is nominate a crook and a bloke who is older than I am for President. The Republicans are delusional in their support for Trump but the Democrats are inept in not finding a younger more energetic candidate. It is astounding that in a nation of 350 million people the best they can come up with is the 81 year old Joe Biden and and the 77 year old Donald J Trump. If one of these two falls off the perch before the election you wonder who would replace him in the electoral contest. Harris would probably step up for the Democrats but they do not seem to like each other in the Republican camp.

Not yet. Most of the SU34 and 35 aircraft shot down were from patriot systems being strategically moved closer to the front lines. I believe 7 have been shot down up over the last few days. They use them to drop their glide bombs.

Nah, i know a few poles. One in particular from the border region is hoping Ukraine and Russia grind themselves to dust and Poland can waltz in and take back the land the Ukranians took a hundred years ago (that the Poles took 200 hundred years before that, etc.)

Would be no surprise if Putin was behind this too.( just like the trucker convoys elsewhere) I mean his warfare worldwide is not just using physical weapons, it is in a large part agitate, disrupt etc. quite the genius at it and spent a long time mastering it in the KGB.

Not the main part of Sweden, but if Russia wanted to 'test article 5' by taking a piece of the Baltics to 'save oppressed Russian minorities', Gotland, in the middle of the Baltic Sea, would have massively complicated getting supplies via ship to them. Now with Sweden part of NATO, they won't try that. Sweden and Finland joining NATO has turned Kalingrad from a dangerous threat, into an isolated Russian enclave, that Russia has the problem with, not NATO.
