Its really escalated to absurd levels and the only common denominator is Trump. In an effort to win, no slur is off limits.

Surely the biggest ace the Democrats have is how Trump performed as President when Covid hit.

Covid was a shit show for everyone. No government got it right. There was no point bringing it up. I did see someone suggest had Trump merely made MAGA masks and said real men wear masks, he would have stayed president. That came from a democrat too.

Try posting better. You've been telling us for a year that Trump would alternatively be in jail or otherwise unfit to run amd yet here we are. Now you're an outlier in predicting a massive Harris win when everyone else has this on a knife-edge. Maybe you're right but your track record ain't great.

Timings today (NSW time)

This is the list of states which pundits have said to watch with the Eastern Australian times the polls close and when we can expect results:

- Georgia 11am - 16 electoral votes. By law all early votes - (roughly 3/4 of the total) will be posted at 12pm Eastern Australian time. Final results expected by 4pm.

- Virginia 11am - 13 electoral votes. Expect 70 per cent to be counted by around 4pm.

North Carolina 11.30am - 16 electoral votes. Early votes to be all reported by 1.30pm with precinct votes arriving from around then.

- Michigan 12pm and 1pm - 15 electoral votes. A new law means Michigan will begin processing absentee ballots with results starting to be reported within 90 minutes of polls closing.

- New Hampshire 12pm - 4 electoral votes. Votes are reported in single blocs at township or ward level not county level but counts the vast majority of its votes on election night.

- Pennsylvania 12pm - 19 electoral votes. This will be slow because it doesn’t start processing early votes until election day. In 2020 only 54 per cent had been counted by midnight (4pm.)

- Arizona 1pm - 11 electoral votes. A slow conter historically, this year is likely to be even worse as there is a big ballot paper that will take longer to feed into counting machines.

- Iowa 1pm - 6 electoral votes. First results will arrive around 2pm with the vast majority counted by 4pm.

- Wisconsin 1pm - 10 electoral votes. Around 70 per of the totals will be reported around 4pm.

- Nevada 2pm - 6 electoral votes. First results around 3.40pm with the last at around 10pm.
